Thats the point. He should be able to take what he gives. if he wants to troll with hot takes then he should be fine with the backlash, no?

It's been my impression that Eric appears to be fine with the responses to his posts. I don't recall him getting into nasty squabbles the way some have over the years.

There are plenty of people here to have a conversation with. If you don't like what he is saying don't respond.

I guess I just don't get the outlandish responses. People getting angry at it...why? When I read his posts being overly optimistic I don't see issue with that. I know he's just being silly. I don't take it seriously. I'm a little superstitious when it comes to the Blazers, so I'm not gonna knock it.

On the podcast there is optimism but there is also the realistic. I appreciate his optimism. Sometimes I go with it. When the season isn't going well, it brings me up. He always sees the positives, even if it doesn't seem that way, but also like you and me and everyone else here feels the ups and downs.

Who is angry? I certainly am not.

again. Im not mad or angry at all. Just calling out outlandish takes like what normally happens around here on a regular basis when outlandish takes are posted by anyone.

I don't think Eubanks is better than Lamarcus, Dwight, Demarcus, or Hassan but it is what it is.


Also, Nurk is a frustrating center to root for, even his made baskets are unsatisfying because he seems to just throw a prayer most of the times. And someone needs to tell him to go easy on the three point attempts and learn how to play defense without fouling out and enough with those lazy passes. I wish him well tho coz this team needs him. He does suffer from having to cover for our guard's defensive limitations.

It's more understandable for negativity regarding the Blazers among such a loyal group of fans, even in the guise of realistic thinking to get backlash than aggrandizement.

Yeah, I just don't get it. It's not worth the time to be upset about. It's more like satiric than trolling. It's a bit of both him being optimistic which is his nature, and being overly silly. I am not one for trolling, especially when it is ill natured. I see his as being good natured and just silly... harmless.

Hey, I'm near with you on Sharpe! He has a real chance to win ROY! I don't know if he will be starting. It's possible. If he does end up starting because he earned it, that can only mean good things. I'm down for that.

He will definitely play more and more minutes as the season goes on.

I think it's quite obvious that he is jesting. I don't think his ignore list is as big as is made out to be. I will have to ask him. Maybe you are right. I do have a different viewpoint knowing him outside the forum.
