This game will be pretty telling about how the beginning of our season is going to go. If we can blow this Kings squad out then maybe we can have some success in the first ten games. If we beat them and it's close we're not going to have a lot of success with teams like the Suns and Heat who make up five of our first ten games. Denver and Memphis are no walk in the park either. If we lose against the Kings we might be looking at being 2-8 after ten games.

That doesn't mean we'll be out of the playoff/play-in picture but it will make that an uphill battle and probably say a lot about where we're starting from.

Notice how when it comes to the Blazers, preseason doesn't mean anything, but when discussing other teams, they will go the regular season as their preseason went.

So if they win games they will be doing better and if they lose games they are not doing well but it's a long season and they can start winning or keep losing.
