Defense is important but when you’re down by 15+ you need offense or to wave the white flag. Too many non-shooters on the floor. This game is likely over. Force feed Sharpe so he can get confidence/rhythm back.

But his shot selection, as I'm sure you're aware, is terrible. What's interesting to me is that not only are we not making shots, the misses are the most probable outcome of our current set up and this should be expected, i.e. we shouldn't be surprised we're getting the floor mopped with us.

Simons really seems miscast as the primary ball handler and decision maker. He's a 2 who can get hot, but his playmaking has to improve if he's gonna play PG.

Good point. I always snarkily think that before he signed his contract the Blazers management watched him get hot during shoot around and that was the deciding factor.
