Maybe Billups, like a lot of people around here, thought the equal opportunity offense with more ball movement would be better.

If I were the opposing coach, I would prefer the ball be out of Dame's hands more often than not as well.

That needs to be the case so that in the Playoffs, coaches can't just scheme to get the ball out of Dame's hands and all of a sudden players who haven't shot much all year, are asked to be much bigger contributors when there is even more pressure on. If Dame/Ant are shooting even halfway decent, the Blazers are winning many of these recent games where they lost.

Or have better wings than Aminu/Harkless/Bazemore so when teams scheme to take away Dame/Ant you can make them pay. And we've done that. If we're turning the ball over at this rate in the regular season, imagine what it would be like against a team who could scheme against us an entire series.
