to the poster who said Grant sucks -- you do realize if not for him and of course Dame the Pels would be blowing out the Blazers right now

Now if you want to say something like while Grant is pretty good he is not worth what he wants this summer I might buy that but that thought for this game -- I gotta sell it

Yeah exactly. I hate seeing them lose, but then I remind myself that's a far better thing in the long term. I'm just about done with this one.

Gonna be funny if we max Grant out. Let him walk. I think that Hou win got peoples hopes up, time to lose and hopefully add another nice piece in the lottery.
 
probably the most annoying thing about a loss tonight isn't so much the loss, as it is hearing people re-hash the CJ trade for the millionth time, and saying stupid shit like "I was told Simons was just as good as CJ" or whatever.

Yeah Grant has definitely been a disappointment. Part of that is on him, but Chauncey and the rest of roster hasn't helped either.

True, but TBH I think we need to be ready to move on from Simons. I've seen enough at this point and I just don't think he's what we need next to Dame. I know, I know I truly thought it would be different, but it isn't. God I wish we had a good coach so I could know for sure it's not a coaching thing.

Nobody is maxing out Grant. We will be the team offering the most money and it won't be a good contract for us but it won't be a terrible one either. This is what we do.

I will say we should have got Murphy or Jones in that trade.
