The Summer League Champs play better together than with the starters.
 
If we lose out like we did last season we are guaranteed a share of the 5th best odds in the draft.
 
What more could we ask for? The loss helped our lottery chances but we got to see a great game from our future star, Sharpe and Little played his best all around offensive game. Got to watch Eubanks block 6 shots. Management got to keep evaluating Knox and Reddish; I would say Reddish down (team worst -22), Knox maybe up a little (3 for 6 from 3 and 5 rebounds in 15 minutes).

shaedon sharpe is a choker if ever there was one

those missed freee throws to get 30 tells me everything i need to know... he only needed to make one
 
Shae was great until his last shift when it looked like the spotlight was too much for him at this point.

Reddish looks like the perimeter version of Nurk -- he has a really good game or does something crazy good to make you think you've got something, then he's unengaged and gets lazy with the basketball and on defense and you want him on any team but yours.

Billups ... pffft ... throwing the young guys out there to play is one thing. Throwing them out there to play and not appearing to get any meaningful instruction is detrimental to their development. I know we see him talking to guys, but whatever he's saying doesn't seem to stick. We had a stretch their in the middle of the 4Q where our offense didn't seem to have any clue what it was trying to do and he never called timeout to settle them down. I know he's going to be back next year and that's going to be wasted time until he gets the axe 30 games into the season.
 
Swept us two years in a row. Blazers better destroy them next season.
 
im legit pissed i missed three quarters live cuz i thought this game started at 9 est like every other sunday game since i can remember. missed shaedon's career high. gonna rewatch now.

what a quick recovery theyve made, they have chet holmgren and a lot of picks to build the team (they probably have the brightest future in the nba)

This is def. a shame for many fans who pay good money to see their home team, Then get a bunch of disappointment when starters are sitting for no visible reason I realize there are reasons for teams to do what they do, But this situation it appears not all was a dead end at the beginning of this latest slide seems we could have still made a shot for the play - in or something the way the conference was packed so close together , or maybe im am way off base here, just hate to ever throw in the towel when there could be a chance, lottery or not. just my thoughts.

I enjoyed this game much, much more than most of the regular season games with the "regulars"

He's on the Mount Rushmore of insufferable and unbearable to listen to sports guys. Him and Jaynes. Just truly awful.

Yeah I listen to his radio show daily at work because it’s the only local one worth listening to at the time. I’m not a fan. He acts like an insider but he’s really not.

Last good insider we had was Kenny Vance and that was close to 20 years ago.

Eh, they have some picks but they have to pick the right players. Chet Holmgren has yet to prove he is anything in this league. I expect the Blazers to be better next season and to fuck this team up.

They can use the picks in trades. Our West rivals over the next several years are Denver, Sacramento, Memphis, and OKC. They have the brightest futures. KD and LeBron are banged up and near the end of their careers. Clippers can’t stay healthy. Wolves are flawed.
