Billups ... pffft ... throwing the young guys out there to play is one thing. Throwing them out there to play and not appearing to get any meaningful instruction is detrimental to their development. I know we see him talking to guys, but whatever he's saying doesn't seem to stick. We had a stretch their in the middle of the 4Q where our offense didn't seem to have any clue what it was trying to do and he never called timeout to settle them down. I know he's going to be back next year and that's going to be wasted time until he gets the axe 30 games into the season.

Billups might have to bench Sharpe, Nas & Eubanks. They almost screwed everything up and won the game.

Danny is the biggest franchise butt kisser ever seen in Portland. It's at a grotesque level. Like dumpster diving for Anfernee's hair trimmings bad... it's really weird.

She is my stepdaughter but I've raised her since she was 8 and she treats/depends on me more than her biological dad. Her daughter, my granddaughter, has only met her biological grandfather twice in her life and she turns 7 in two weeks. I am her grandfather.

When my stepdaughter's son passed away a few years ago I was the one who did all the dad stuff and was included as the father in the sacred Native American of washing of the body and dressing him in a ribbon shirt before the funeral home picked him up.

I never asked to be either of Mrs PokerDog's kid's father, I just tried to be a good person in their lives and give them the love and support they deserved. They both call me their dad and it's one of my greatest honors.

That doesn't seem very likely to me, but I guess we'll see.

Tells me he's 19 and it was a big fucking deal to him but not that he's going to perpetually choke or that he's a headcase. Just a 19 year old who will be 20 right after the season's over that thought scoring 30 was a big deal and it would have been and likely will be in the next few games.

That's a pretty simplistic matter of perspective, but the narrative here right now is just being bad so maybe, just maybe we'll get a good pick that'll bail us out.

I don't entirely subscribe to that. You can lose and still do things right doing it. We don't need Billups not fixing young players' mistakes and accepting shoddy play to be bad. There are dozens of other ways.

Yep, advanced scouting is going to give him an extremely bad game shortly. Hopefully he has the work ethic and attitude to overcome it.

Soon you’ll see teams force him to a sideline, and take away his advantages
