Glad we are losing, but getting embarrassed is another thing

Been saying this and getting slaughtered for it for a month now.I think it would be wise to not put too much weight on individual performances during the last month of the season when there is is zero pressure on players to win and they're not being required to play a role next to other starting caliber players.
Does that mean Sharpe is garbage and can't be in All-Star? No.
Is this month proof that Sharpe is a future star in this league that the Blazers should build around? No, I think that conclusion is premature as well.
No, you're not allowed to take anything away from this game, or previous games. Unless we are because they're playing hard? But we don't know if they're playing hard because they know they can win? But their starters are out there so they must be? But they're up big so maybe not? I'll wait for resident expert to tell us what we can or can not take away.
While being the only offensive threat. We better not move this guy.15/5/2 in the half for Sharpe. Not a bad 1st half.
AgreedI don’t judge it by who he’s playing with or he’s playing against. The game comes easy to stars. Almost at their own pace. To see this kind smoothness out of 19 year old shows me a lot. Already has a lot of tricks in his bag.
He is the greatest 19 year old rookie blazer that I have seen in the months of March and April in my lifetime.I think it would be wise to not put too much weight on individual performances during the last month of the season when there is is zero pressure on players to win and they're not being required to play a role next to other starting caliber players.

MM, its the last game of an ugly year and who the fuck cares at this point? we at least got the 5 slot going into the lotteryGlad we are losing, but getting embarrassed is another thing
Not much company in that group but I agree. He is the greatest 19 year old rookie blazer that I have seen in the months of March and April in my lifetime.
YesInteresting Q for me is will Chauncy be back?
My thinking is they have not given him a chance to coach yet. Still a rookie.Interesting Q for me is will Chauncy be back?

Dame lost 13 games in a row to finish his rookie season while we were tanking.Roy had a nice finish to his rookie year if I remember correctly. I thin Dame was around 20ppg in his last couple months as well.
Man, F the Warriors continuing to play their starters. I don’t root for injuries, but I wouldn’t cry either.
Were either of them 19?Roy had a nice finish to his rookie year if I remember correctly. I thin Dame was around 20ppg in his last couple months as well.
Jerami Grant gets 'The Enforcer' award? Are you kidding me?
Grant has his talents, but he is almost the antithesis of Enforcer and toughness on the Glass. Is there something else that award means?
I think it's not about being an on court thing, it's how he is off court. Charity, etc.
The great thing about Dame was we had an entire season of high level production, a summer league MVP, and unamimous rookie of the year selection to help validate the production we saw during the tanking time.Dame lost 13 games in a row to finish his rookie season while we were tanking.
Maybe we shouldn't have been excited about his ROY performance either.

I say it before and I’ll say it again. NFL teams that out of the playoffs still plays hard and they play their starters compared to the NBA. NFL cared about their fan base.
