hes gonna get minutes this season for sure, will it be from the get go, i dont know, but hell get them
NOPE. You can't just say this....WHO will sit for this teenager who hasn't played in 2 years?

Yes to both.

Though firehouse there's only 2 that I know of, one in Beaverton at Cedar Hills Crossing (off of Walker Rd.)

Other one is in Gresham on Burnside but I dont know where exactly.

Potbelly the only one I know of is downtown right on the NE corner of Pioneer Square (If you're looking towards the Williamite River from Pioneer Square) And I do believe they have one right next door to Keller Auditorium too.

There's a Firehouse Subs in McMinnville. Pretty solid.

There's Potbelly in Beaverton, Hillsboro, Downtown Portland, at PDX.... they're all over Chicago - that's where I first discovered them. A-Wreck FTW!

You can't say anything with 100% certainty, but this team has invested a lot in him and they are on the clock with Dame's age. They will need to know, quick, if he is a building block for the future or not. He will get time.

Ah, I haven't lived on the westside in a few years so I have forgotten what's over there (or they were built afterwards). Potbelly is pretty damn good though. Had one a few months ago. I still prefer firehouse, but I love sub sandwiches so I'm not extremely picky and I try all of them.

If you want a blast from the past there was blimpies and a place called Pogys from the 90s. Pogys was legit so good but they never lasted and I don't know why.

What exactly did they invest in him yet? They tanked.... That's about all I know. Lol.

A-Wreck is my joint man! The best!

Best outcome..... he will have the same trajectory as Ant in my opinion. I just can NOT see Billups putting him on the court over vets.

If this is in fact a 39-win team as you've repeatedly predicted, I see no reason for guys like Winslow and Hart to play ahead of him. I'd like to think that Coach Billups would prioritize the development of a lottery pick over pursuit of the 10th seed.

Coach main objective is to win. Especially after what Billups had to go through LAST season...he will put vets in there to win. With the talent he has been handed, I believe 39-41 is about right.

Look bro, I have a fucking pinwheel tattooed on my body....trust me when I tell you I'm a lifelong fan. These people pay my bills. I want them to win. I just REFUSE to get hyped when it isn't warranted.

I don't go into Hillsboro but knew they had a PB. If the wife passes through Beaverton, she always stops and brings home PB. I haven't had a Blimpie since driving back from SF several years ago, but I do remember Pogy's. That place was great.

There was a solo sub sandwich shop in inner-NE back in the day. Kinda near Grant as I remember a few Grant HS kids in there during lunch. I was thinking it was on NE Glisan, but I could be wrong.

Perhaps this was intended for @wizenheimer in the other thread. I know people kid you about the Lakers, but I've never once questioned or impugned your fanhood.

I will say that in my experience as a fan, it's simply a lot more fun to be hyped about possibility than it is to operate under the assumption that there is none.

yeah bro but this roster hasn't even tipped off once together yet so say what you want but if it looks like buzzkill, smells like buzzkill and sounds like buzzkill I'm calling it BUZZKILL! Explain one day to Dame why getting hyped about winning now isn't warranted.....I'm waiting.....

It is sad that our training camp thread has been hijacked by processed meat on bread.
Now if it was about pizza.......

I can't see Billups sitting him if he's earning minutes. We have no one on this team that is as gifted athletically (with the exception of strength). With that said, look at all of the comments from coach and teammates about how aggressive this kid is and how quick he is picking things up. You think the guy who was the number one rated recruit in his class before reclassifying is going to sit for three seasons before he makes a meaningful impact and you think that's the best case scenario?!? Ant was not close to as highly touted of a prospect, Ant had CJ in front of him and none of Nas, Hart, GP2 or Winslow are as good as CJ or more importantly as entrenched with this coach like CJ was with Stotts.

I agree that Shaedon will not play if that PT doesn't help this team win. I know that it's anything but a certainty that he'll get to that level this season because of the unknowns that surround him after not playing in games at Kentucky. I also know that on 6'6", ultra athletic wings with 7 foot wingspans who can shoot, handle the ball, finish and have an attacking mentality on both ends, the scouts don't miss too often. This isn't trying to project a big or a unicorn of some sort. People keep discounting the fact that he played with one of the best teams in college basketball last season and according to his teammate TyTy he was consistently the best guy on the practice court and would dominate the starters as part of the scout team.

I don't know if Shaedon will sniff significant playing time this season but I also don't know that he won't win the starting SF spot at some point this season either. We'll just have to wait and see. You seem to feel like you know that he can't have an impact on this team this season, I'm wondering if that's just an assumption based on his age and the fact that he hasn't played competitively in a while or if you've seen something that makes you think he's for sure nowhere close to being ready??? Honest question.

(Just bolded that last part because it's a longass post and if you don't want to read the whole fucking thing, I'd still like to know where you're coming from)

There have been a number of NBA basketball guru's that said before the draft that sharpe was as talented and athletic as anyone in the top 5 and maybe even more so. He fell to 7 because of his circumstances.
I agree with you that Chauncey will want to win as many games as possible this year, pre season will be when Shaed gets a bunch of minutes, then we'll know more.
