Just give the ball to Simons, win or lose I want him to take the last shot…. smh

The official that T'd Chauncey needs suspended.

This is the kind of stuff that makes people think a sport is fixed. Chauncey's calling time. Brogdon's calling time. You don't give either timeout and then you call the turnover and give two Ts and eject the coach in a 1-point game in the last 20 seconds?

That's absolute robbery.

That guy totally had a bet on OKC

How many game winners Simons have this year? And our coach still don’t trust him or get him the ball.

Yeah the refs lost us this game. That being said bad calls happen, the game wasn’t rigged.

The good news is that we competed every second of the game, should have won and don’t hurt our lotto chances.

I can take losing knowing Simons took the last shot.

Why would the assistants leave Ant on the floor when you need a stop? Coaching was even worse after the Chauncey ejection.

We lost the moment we took Scoot out.

Blazers outscored OKC after Scoot got taken out (until the crazy technical), but don't let the facts get in the way of a good story.

If Coach didn't beat up the official... could the Blazers have challenged that timeout call?

That’s how a tanking team should lose. Last second shot. I am pretty happy with the game. Lots of good stuff tonight.

the last 20 seconds was sub-optimal

the double-dribble was the correct call; a T for contacting the official was the correct call; the 2nd T was probably the correct call. But the three calls together was an official fuck-up

Blazers needed a player other than Brogdon to call a time-out. That would have been seen by an official

Not awarding the timeout was not the correct call.

If the coach and the guy with the ball can't get a timeout awarded, nobody was going to. Those are the two places all the refs should be looking at in those situations. You can't have guys off the ball, looking away from the play, to try and find the ref to call timeout. What would happen if a pass came their way and they weren't looking?

Here is the clip. To me, it looks like Brogdon did in fact brain fart and double dribble. He should have called a time out. It seems Chauncy was trying to call a time out, but can't see quite when. Looks like it may have been right as Brogdon started his double dribble. Not a very vet move by Brogdon.

I have always thought that if a player dribbles into a trap, they should not be able to bail themselves out with a time-out. I know that's not the rule but it should be

If looked pretty sure than SGA touched the ball when Brogdon was being hounded.

Wouldn't that allow Brogdon to restart his dribble?
