The first one was really stupid. The second one didn't work out, but was less stupid, and Giannis had a real argument that he got the rebound and it should've been their ball and not a jump.

Regardless, whatever coach that is in charge of challenges needs a guy to explain what the outcome would be if they were to win.

The rule is the location of the ball at the time of the whistle is what matters and it was loose. The whistle came before his rebound.

"And then, suddenly, in the aftermath of the win over the Bucks, all five Blazers starters incredibly came up with strained quads that took them all out of action for the remainder of the season. Portland didn't win another game as it fell into the top three picks in the draft ...."

No more winning though, we’re getting dangerously close to Toronto…

Grant + Brogdon are good enough to add some wins that will damage lottery chances; they already have for that matter. 38 minutes for Grant tonight and 36 for Brogdon. Blazers are still 5th in the lottery, but only 2 games ahead of Toronto; and 4 games from 9th in the lottery. 5th has a 42% chance of a top-4 pick; 9th has a 20% chance

I don't believe that is correct, but I could be wrong.

My understanding is if a team gains immediate possession then they are to get the ball. We've seen examples of this previously. The rules don't seem to be applied consistently, so who knows!

I don't know if I ever saw the situation with the first challenge. We lost the challenge but won it because it changed the call and got to keep our second challenge.
From the straight-down from above view it did look like it ricocheted off Simons' thigh last.

The funny thing is when they call a jump ball off when it goes out of bounds, it seems to me if you challenge that call you will win that challenge every time because in slow motion they will see who actually had final contact with the ball. I mean maybe some refs will try to say it isn't "definitive" but if they don't shirk their responsibility you might not get the ball but most jump balls off an out of bounds have to be reversed and therefore a challenge won.

Dame made or assisted on Milwaukee's only 3 made shots in the last 3:36, but they inbounded to Giannis when they needed a 3?

Dame, Giannis, and Portis discussed it before Jerami's free throws. Giannis was supposed to get it to Dame for the game winner. Blazers and Chauncey were very aware of it.

I only saw the straight on view and couldn't see it touching him really.

@Travis Demers i thought you did an incredible job filling in. I don’t listen to the radio, I’m sorry, but you are very smooth, great sounding voice and your looks at the refs are awesome!!! :) You should move to tv as soon as possible if it’s in your interest. You will succeed, I have no doubt.
Fantastic job filling in!!!

Correct... but it was fairly obvious the Blazers were going to foul, so by having Dame inbound to Giannis, they took that option off the table and put one of their poorer FT shooters at the line. Seemed like a checkers move by Glenn.

He is a famous checkers player after all.

Blazers 5 games behind the Warriors. That'd be something else if this team can catch Steph Curry.
