So Billups pulls his starters with 35 seconds to go? Good grief. Just let them play it out. It’s pointless to put in the bench for the last half minute of the game.

Nuggets radio announcers upset Portland's "little guys" were hard to stop.

I guess Ayton took the night off. That’s what “max” players do, right?

Nuggets +20 in assists.
It looked like Globetrotter stuff at times.

Nice effort by Scoot to celebrate his birthday tomorrow. Just 366 days and he can drink legally.
And yet there's a thread called "Scoot a bust?"... and it's three and a half months old.

Avoid injuries. For the players in the game. It's symbolic. Did you just start watching the NBA?
I’ve been watching the NBA longer than you’ve been alive, and to think you’re going to avoid some big injury in the last 35 seconds is ridiculous. Likewise, for a guy who’s been on the bench the whole game it’s no big honor to trot onto the court for the last 35 seconds which are going to be meaningless to the final outcome.

KCP might have a dislocated finger. He looked in rough shape near the end of this game.

I don't think any of us could have imagined that Scoot would ever do that in his career. Made me think about Ronnie Lee, He was a great free throw shooter. Pretty thick like Scoot too. He was not much of a shooter except from the FT line though.
Funny thing is, I decided to check Lee's FT % in college. His best year was .793. First three years closer to .700. I guess he must have been clutch late in games and that's what I remember......

dumbass YouTubers post 'Scoot's a bust' every other week. They won't be getting too many clicks from here on out.

This is so on brand with your avatar. Let the manufactured outrage out. Let it all out. You're right, no injuries have ever happened in the last 35 seconds of a game. You should just let your starters continue playing with the game out of reach. You know better.

He hurt his finger with all the hand checking he was getting away on Ant on that possession.
i saw that play... did he fly into the front row on Ant's shot attempt? Sneaky Nuggets fans may have mauled KCP in the aftermath.

Nobody plays that hard in the last 35 seconds of a game that is out of reach. If you knew anything about the NBA, you would know that. And please name one serious injury that’s ever happened in the last 35 seconds of garbage time.

Ayton only got 5 shots in tonight's offense. He scored on an O-board for a bucket.
I wonder how Deandre feels about being iced out & used as a decoy? I guess his max salary tells him to be cool with his new coach & teammates?

Derrick Rose tore his ACL with 80 seconds left in a game they were trailing by 12.
