One of my best stories comes from that place. I was tasked to buy a bunch of donuts for a work party thing and so I got in there at like 9 in the morning and it’s empty, just this tall guy who looks like he ran artillery for the Soviets in the 70s. He kind of gives me a bored look and then I ask for three dozen donuts. He’s like okay yeah let’s see what we can do.

He yells something back to the kitchen but it’s in Russian so I don’t get what he’s saying. He starts looking a little agitated, yells again. Nothing. Finally he goes back in the back and I hear a bunch of yelling in Russian between two guys and then he comes back with this short guy who looks like he just stepped out of the boiler room of a fucking crab boat, little wool cap and white tank top and a cigarette hanging unlit from his mouth. Guy hasn’t shaved in four days.

The tall guy looks at me and says “I apologize he is a useless Armenian. We will make your donuts now.” And they disappear for like fifteen minutes. I look at the cork board with all the drawings from kids while I wait.

Eventually they come out with three boxes of donuts, they present them to me with the box tops open like I’m inspecting suitcases of cash. Then they close the boxes and the cook pulls out a fucking Bowie knife and stabs four holes in each box while giving me extremely uncomfortable eye contact. I thanked them and tried not to run out the door.

So, if you want to improve your net rating, just play the Blazers!!!!

Unfortunately, this avenue is not open to the Blazers :(

Scoot showing what he's all about.

This fast break also shows one of Grant's strengths - running the floor and getting the ball on a fast break then using his agility and length to score with defenders around him. He's a great target for Scoot.
