Strus would be another stupid move. Allergic to signing anyone taller than 6'9.

Sharpe grew 6 inches, confirmed!!Theres a new ESPN Insider guide on free agency for each team. I laughed at the Blazers depth chart;

I mean yeah Sharpe can swing to forward, I just thought that would be SF not PF, and Simons can swing up a position, which I assume was from PG to SG - not SG to SF. I didn't realize this is how we are rolling with the quad guard lineup. Somewhere Neil Olshey is smiling in approval.
I'm REALLY hoping for $25 mil/year.First thing will be to sign Jerami Grant. But I can't get too excited about paying $30,000,000 to a PF who is in a 10-way tied for 133rd in the league for rebounding. Yuck.
Kris is why Trendon is goneDunk highlight videos, like three point makes videos, are generally worthless and boring. However I did see two positives: Dude jumps high, and he plays with fire. If he is the reason we released Trendon, in Schmidt I trust.
#FreeBam, or we'll poach Max Struus from you!!!Fischer says we're interested in Max Strus....

Seen a lot of rumors surrounding the Blazers and Derozan in trades. I’m not sure I buy most of them, but the common theme is Derozan and Draymond in Portland and Simons/Sharpe traded.
Back before the draft some Blazers edge writer was talking about Derozan and the #3 pick. I’ve seen a few articles from other locations talking about what is basically their ESPN Trade Machine scenarios which “work”.I'm just going to say... citation needed

Don’t you take Dames word for it? If you sit and have a meeting and Dame theoretically signs off on such a trade, don’t you listen to him? Or any trade in general. They meet regarding the “direction” of the team, you tell your Franchise cornerstone and future greatest franchise player of all time what your plans are, and listen to what he has to say…Right?
Not even saying these rumors are legitimate or that Dame feels that way. I’m just going to keep it in mind going into FA.
We should expect to see a lot of movement by the Blazers given what we’ve heard and the commitments they have made to Dame. Maybe the FO has changed their view after having what could be looked back on as the biggest theft by any team in any draft. The promise is definitely there, and so are the hopes to compete.
I think you can pretty much guarantee that there will be some news regarding roster changes once FA starts going off.
Oh look

Seen a few were talking about Bradley Beal, which is obviously false now. If anything it just shows that there’s a perception that we have a drop off at the guard position after Dame. I don’t disagree. He hasn’t even played a SL game and I’m going to say that I think it would be a crime to play Simons over Scoot.
I don’t think it’s much more than fans aside from Blazer fans voicing their thoughts. I’d be surprised if Derozan was in Portland next season. So nothing about Sharpe and a bunch of fans like us throwing shit at the wall? The word "rumors" feels like its doing a little too much heavy lifting in your post there...

Wonder how Pissed fans will be if we trade one of our prized young players (Scoot or Sharpe) for a player like Derozan????? I know I would be especially since it still wouldn’t make us contenders.
will fans turn on Dame at some point if we do a trade like that?

Strus would shoot a better 3pt% hereStrus shot 31.9% on threes in the playoffs on 135 attempts. He was better in the regular season at 35% but thats still not amazing. I guess I'd be good with him for the MLE but a sign and trade giving him a larger contract possibly overpaying as well as losing an assets such as Ant or something else doesn't seem like a good move.

I’d rather have Tyler Herro
He could take a $12m MLEOnly can come to PDX in a sign and trade. I think it would likely be Simons going out right?
I guess Nurk and Little going out and Blazers using MLE on a center would work too. Don't see why Miami would want those guys though.
Maybe Ant to Philly DeRozen to PDX and Harden to Chicago?
Why would those teams not just cut us out?
