In the video game world, what Cronin is doing is called throwing. Or more likely he’s “inting” or “intentionally throwing.”

legit question:

did we just make our team worse this summer?

Scoot will play like 10 minutes a game, Sharpe still stuck on the bench, and we lost Drew and Trendon (along with Cam and Knox).
Right now we're worse for sure. We don't even have the shitty backup Cs we had. We already had a minutes crunch at the guard spots and then we added Scoot with the number 3 pick. We will see what we do from here... a lot of off season left but I don't have a ton of faith in Cronin.

Nurk has never averaged 30 minutes and it's not because we've had great backups. He's the biggest person in the league that's a starter and I don't think he's in shape to play more than that.

What's it mean? Like failing on purpose?

Yes, in video games "inting" is where you are losing on purpose. Often to piss off your teammates or "punish" them for some perceived slight (like they're horrible at the game, or talking shit to their own team, for instance).

Throwing is not necessarily intentionally losing, but rather making horribly stupid decisions that lead to a loss for your team.

Butler might end up playing serious minutes for us at this rate.

And it sure seems like we are trying to goad Dame into a trade demand.

What did the Memphis Grizzlies do last off-season in the free agent market?

They ended up with the #2 seed in the Western Conference.

Were their fans angry when they weren't active?

"Drafted" players include those acquired on draft day and started their careers in Memphis.
