Blazers went 2-9 in those games

Hold up..... wait a minute....... are you legitimately going to feed me a win/loss record for when we were ACTIVELY trying to lose games? I mean... I know we all thought that putting John Butler Jr at point guard was a winning move that sadly didn't work out, but I know you're better than this.

We BEAT teams that were trying to win, and we were BEATING teams that were trying to win.

Memphis?

Minnesota?

Clippers?

Even Paul George was impressed with Sharpe during that LAC game.

oh hell no. he's not talking about CBA as an excuse for not going for it.

We aren't close to the second apron you jackass.

It's a valid argument in the current CBA. Star quality players on rookie scale contracts. Extremely valuable.

NBA is turning into the NFL. A rookie scale QB can give you a window to win a ring.

Not with Cronin as GM. He will give Dame away.

What is with you people and complaining about every single GM this team has had? I get it, every fan base has to bitch and complain about management on twitter and in forums, but seriously.

Sorry, I guess it's the society we live in now where we get to take shots at others when they have no idea what it takes.

Cronin saying he still plans to build a winner around Dame and have Dame retire in Portland

You can only say "we want to build around Dame" for so long.

At some point your actions mean a lot more than your words.

"He (Scoot) is not your normal 19 year old...he's a special special player... uber talent... not going to take too long to find his stride. He's a little unique in that regard. I would argue Scoot is anything but an average 19 year old (prospect)."

And then in his next statement he said something like "it will take him a little time to acclimate."

But he said he intends to keep both players.

Asked about chances of trading Dame: "No such think as zero, but it's my goal Dame retires in Portland... as far as them playing together, those two can blend together well and compliment each other as well. we'll see out Chauncey decides to use him in year one. I don't know if he'll be the backup or starter."

"I'd rather have the shorter player"

Cronin said it. No one can say he didn't!

Ah so the reports were wrong.

6'2.5 barefoot. So he's slightly taller than people thought.

"I'd rather have the shorter guy who is a better player than a 6'5" guy." when asked about playing him and Dame together.

Do you (Cronin) feel like you're in danger of losing Dame?

Cronin: "No...."

LOL Even Cronin knows they can't fucking play together

We've got 3 point guards, 1 shooting guard...

And we're about to play 3 of the 4 out of position

WOOHOO!

Twitter's been great tonight. All the fanbases of the teams we couldn't get deals done with are blasting their GMs, too.

He also said, "they're both 1's, so it's a good question".
