USA vs Panama is in San Diego brah. You get to see Mexico vs Jamaica.
Then what fucking games am I working here in Vegas tomorrow??? Man I’m losing it. We are doing a double header…who the hell is playing?

Sorry I’m posting a cartoon. I know it really upsets some of the real SERIOUS posters on here. Cause you know basketball is SO serious.

Interesting you didn’t save this gem for the next game thread.

Not sure what the other game is but Mexico plays Jamaica at 7. Is it possibly a consolation match? USA plays in San Diego at 430. Might try to go as tickets are pretty inexpensive.

Site says it opens at 5 so I doubt another event is going on in Las Vegas. Are you helping production remotely?

I can’t believe I don’t even know what games I’m working. When they flew me down here they said I was working the Gold Cup Semis…. Double header….. standby, I got to go google some shit. SIGH!

Well that solves it. I am working the Mexico game here, but we are on the air during both Semis. So confused.

After watching some game highlights, Badji played some soft matador defense in the paint..didn't get in front of Miller all night it looked like. He needs to work on his lower core and get in a stance...take a charge.

I know the highlight you are talking about and if it wasn't summer league I would agree. But I think on that play Miller could have gotten hurt. But you are right he needs to get stronger. I thought he looked better this game, decent screens and passes. he isn't a turnover machine that I was worried about.

Also nice to see Kris finally have a good game. He did everything he's going to be expected to do on the actual squad: hit open shots, make smart cuts, grab rebounds.

Missed three free throws and stepped out of bounds on two corner threes though. Rookie mistakes.

He has a very smooth stroke. He will eventually be a very good 3pt shooter.

Badji has looked like a complete waste everytime I watched him. If we could Id cut his contract and give it to Reath.

John Butler Jr has done some nice things. He's very skinny but I'd keep him.

Reath has been surprising. I'd give him a shot. He is very active.

Badji and JBJ are both 20. They're projects.

I'd just go ahead and tell Jaizec Lottie and Antoine Davis to just go ahead and piss off. They're both terrible.

Badji is averaging 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in almost 19 minutes per game. That's...... not good.

Reath is averaging 11.7 points and 8.7 rebounds in 21 minutes.

With 5 draft picks the last two years and likely some young talent in a Lillard trade we don't need two poor projects like Badji and JBJ.

We need young talent that has at least role player upside not 13th man upside. We need some vets to help the development of the quality young players. Badji provides neither.

They're 2 way players. They're barely on the team.

That pass from Reath to Butler with his long arms going down the middle for a score was really nice. It'll be great if the secondary/third scorers can work effectively together like that.

Watched Badji twice in person he looks much worse than those stats. He's a stiff with poor movent, no feel for the game. JBJ at least moves very well and looks like he could one day develop into something.

Reath took some dumb 3s but everything else he did was excellent. I see he's 27. I'd still much rather have him on the roster for 3rd/4th string.

Reath isn't super fast but he knows where he's supposed to be.
