Alex Caruso has been excellent defensively coming to the Thunder in the trade for Giddy. He has been horrific on offense this year though, he's shooting 18% on three. The Spurs put their center on him at times yesterday. That would be a place we could put Clingan if the Thunder go small, give Caruso the Westbrook treatment and dare him to shoot.
 
Are we really supposed to believe that ant is so sick he can’t play for a week but he can also sit with the team and go to games?

I don't think it'll change much either way, its just one game of an 82 game season. Even if we win Friday it doesn't change a ton either, although those would probably be our two most impressive wins of the season.

We have a hard schedule the next 8 games. If we win two then drop all 6 we're a bit better but still close to where many expected with this team at 8-14. I'd need to see this team be close to .500 or close to that 10th seed for more weeks into the season to really start changing my opinion of where they can ultimately end up.

I will say that it has been very surprising the last 3 wins we have been led by excellent play from our youth. Seems like our vets have played even worse than their detractors thought was likely this season, especially Ant and Ayton. So while we ultimately might be a similar team to what many expected in the preseason, it would be much better for our long term future to have our youth playing so well.

Fantastic answer. Really appreciate the breakdown and reasoning why. Much of that does make sense. I will just say that it is one game, but backed up by three others, making it essentially four games that I am looking at that may be changing some peoples’ opinions.
I suppose I am just an easy sell.
 
How do some of you post so often during the game? I find it difficult to keep up. I either end up missing five minutes of play reading and attempting to join the posting, or i watch the game and cant keep up with the game thread.
You people are amazingly skilled!

Cronin is always holding out for more in the trade; this takes time!
 
Game time. I hope they can show the defensive improvements are not a fluke, but rather a mainstay for our future.

Great! Finally found a Blazers broadcasting stream. Now i can keep watching which players do or don't make eye contact with Billups when he is talking with them. :)

I wonder what they have said to him or if he said I’d rather sit than not start or if he’s really just hurt.
 
Finally figured out blazervision so I get to watch this live (first game I’ve seen this season). Clingan is way way better than I expected; he may not have any blocks but OKC is 0-4 on shots he’s contested.
 
Jeezus what happened? Scoot is just not making the right choices
