Ugh.

That was an ugly ending.

Zero passing at the end.

Just one on whatever and hope it goes.

I just dont understand Simons. He forced everything that last 2 minutes. Let's give Scoot a chance instead of whatever it is simons was trying to accomplish?

He’s a chucker. They keep chucking.

Ant really needs to be a 3rd option on good team no way he’s a number 1 or 2 option on good team. Time to turn keys over to Scoot and let’s see what we have.

Got to give it to our three vets, though. Ayton, Grant and Ant played the last 11 minutes like guys who didn't care.

The Jiffy Lube Tanker of the Game Award, though, goes to DeAndre Ayton, who set the tone for the Pels comeback by not valuing possessions, taking bad shots early in the shot clock, playing really passive defense and setting screens like a 6-year-old that had been told everyone else on the court had cooties. I thought I was watching Nurk out there. If Ayton thinks he gets a bad wrap, someone needs to show him a replay of his 4Q play in this game. Zero effort.

I got nothin'!

I'll go to sleep and have negative dreams. Maybe tomorrow I can satisfy my fans and say something negative.

Good effort, good game!

If we're going to lose a lot of games, don't be a laughingstock. Try to win. And that's what we did tonight. Billups read my posts and yelled at them. I am the team's inspiration.

I feel like such a failure, saying nothing negative. I hope my bad dreams are productive.

He just seems so weak minded around the rim. It's frustrating. Dude could beast if he wanted to.

Simons hero-ball-hog fails miserably. However, he gets a nomination for best supporting actor in Tank Commander

this may be what the Blazers are this season: a dumpster-diving big-3 of Simons-Ayton-Grant. They took 57 of Portland's 90 shots (63%); and they played 40 minutes, 36 minutes, & 33 minutes. I know there are posters here who are happy with that distribution for those players; I'm not one of them. But it's what I expected from Cronin & Billups. I may be tuning out pretty early in the season

in the last 2:24 of the game:

2:24 Anfernee Simons makes 9-foot driving floating jump shot
1:50 Anfernee Simons makes free throw 1 of 2
1:50 Anfernee Simons makes free throw 2 of 2
1:23 Anfernee Simons misses 28-foot three point pullup jump shot
52.1 Anfernee Simons out of bounds bad pass turnover
30.1 CJ McCollum blocks Anfernee Simons 's 4-foot driving layup
0.0 Herbert Jones blocks Anfernee Simons's driving layup

he had a nice floater on the first drive; was completely bailed out by a foul call when he lost the ball. Then he wasted 4 straight possessions and as Illimatic said, this was likely what Billups wanted

Huh, you’re blaming grant?

Please Fire Billups Now. Running one player to the hoop? That's how you end the game? Good lord.
I would have totally been on the fire Chauncey train if they would have pulled a W from the L column. Now it's extension time!

Seriously, there aren't too many plays a coach can run with 5 seconds left. I put it on the players to make plays. It was a poor decision by Ant to drive it to the hole as he's got Herb Jones on him as well as the entire D's focus. He should have sought to kick it out to a shooter or pulled up himself.

That said, I was really happy about Scoot and Clingan's play. Deni was pretty good too
