This team has the talent to compete, no question. They pass the eye test, and they're just getting started. Deni is finding his role and rhythm, and his shots will start to fall. Scoot feels ready for a breakthrough, and with Sharpe returning soon, we’ll see some fun dynamics from the bench. Thybulle and Williams are exciting additions too—but right now, we’ve got so much depth, there’s no room for them. Crazy. And yes, I believe they should keep the starting five as is for a while.

here are the next 22 games:

@ Sacramento Kings
@ Los Angeles Clippers
Oklahoma City Thunder
@ Phoenix Suns
@ New Orleans Pelicans
@ San Antonio Spurs
@ Minnesota Timberwolves
Memphis Grizzlies
Minnesota Timberwolves
Minnesota Timberwolves

Atlanta Hawks
@ Oklahoma City Thunder
@ Houston Rockets
@ Houston Rockets
@ Memphis Grizzlies
@ Indiana Pacers
Sacramento Kings
Dallas Mavericks
@ Los Angeles Clippers
Utah Jazz
@ Los Angeles Lakers
Denver Nuggets

what do you predict the record will be 25 games into the season for the deep, talented, Blazer team you see? I'm thinking 5-20; maybe 6-19

I was surprised at how well the Blazers defended Zion (3-12 and 4-15)

he was forcing drives and shots, and frankly, he doesn't look in shape. Clingan definitely bothered him several times

I also think the Pels are missing Valunciunas a lot more than they thought they would. He was excellent at setting screens and Zion used that for a significant portion of his dribble drives

Nobody is hating the Blazers by pointing out Murray was out. Murray is a better player than anyone on our team. We were missing Sharpe too. Another fact.

We won, and HCP was merely pointing out why the Pels looked off.

Lol dude has played a single game for them, and many aren’t even high on him despite the stats. If we’re gonna play that game, still missing Shaedon and timelord

CJ, Zion and Ingram hypothetically should have been enough. We dominated them in a lot of ways both games.

but hate on, sports two. Do what you do
Oh I just stated they were missing a 20+ point scoring vet/starting PG is all. You thought I was hating?

IT’S @THE HCP FAMS!!!!!

Swear some Blazer fans are on another planet from me. Literally excited for zero of the things you mention. This win looks like one fluke where a better team was traveling and had an off night. Will we see more of these games or games 1/2? I'd expected this game3 outcome is the rare one, I guess we'll see how it plays out over the next 5-10 games.

Deni looks like a complete waste just as when we acquired Roco or Nance. Possible big mistake giving up that 2029 unprotected pick for him.

Ant Grant and Ayton are such a pathetic big 3 and get in the way of watching the youth of this team. Wish they were gone.

Scoot is probably the only bright spot of who you mention, but even he seems far more likely to bust than be a long term starter. If we were trying to win he'd be a 3rd string player.

Clingan has been good and Camara is fine. Everyone else is worthless on this roster.
They stayed in town between games sir.

As much as I like winning, beating this team with Grant, Ayton and Simons playing such a big role isn't going to be good for us long term...
