Fantastic game than can only help these young dudes. Scoot with the ball in his hands with the game on the line for the FIRST time in his career…..can’t teach that in practice. Great teaching moment.

Are you forgetting the game versus Utah, fams?

Yep. People both hoping for flagg and cheering for wins are funny to me. I laugh.

To me, laughing at them and at that hope seems kind of off.

First, it's our team. The best possible outcome is playing well AND getting Flagg or one of the top guys in the draft. Is it a strong possibility? No. But not hoping for it and, worse, cheering on your fellow fans to be disappointed by that not happening is kind of perverse, isn't it? To me, that just seems like getting off on having people be miserable.

We're not winning because of Ant, Grant and Ayton. Ayton hasn't been playing, and neither had Timelord. Grant's been out a lot recently, and even when he plays he's one of worst players. Ant's up and down.

And Ant and Ayton COULD be part of the core of this team. They aren't old players. The only way someone thinks they don't fit the arbitrary timeline of success of this team is if you think everyone needs to be 20 or 21, which, BTW, is every bit as improbable as finishing 10th and picking first ... which is what happened to the Hawks last year.

Finally, I don't get the idea of cheering for losses if you think Shaedon, Scoot, Toumani, Deni and Clingan are part of your future core. They're all playing. They're playing a lot. They're playing significant roles. If that's happening and you still are losing to the Wizards and Nets, then you are waaaaaaay too far away from being a contender just by drafting Flagg. And, if Flagg's that good but none of these other guys are, how does that get you out of purgatory anyway? I don't know, though. Flagg's outstanding, but if you put him on the Wizards next year, are the Wizards suddenly a playoff team? I don't see him as THAT kind of difference-maker. I think there are guys in 2026 that are that kind of difference-maker, but I don't see Cooper Flagg as Wemby or LeBron or Giannis or SGA or Tatum or Luke or Jokic or Morant ... he's not that level of impact player. But he's not someone you are going to build around and go from 20 wins to 40 without having some pretty good pieces around him.

I'm laughing at the wanting to win but thinking we should or could get flagg.

You literally can't have both this year lol

FAMS….I’ve seen every second of what…72 games this season…..I can’t remember ANY of it. I don’t remember Scoot with a chance to tie the game at the line with seconds left yet or him dribbling up the court in overtime in a tied game. If I’m wrong , let me know yo.

Not either of the scenarios you listed but...

...was pretty big time in the clutch.
