Trump is a convicted felon and adjudicated sex offender. And 70 million people didn't give a fuck. Try giving a female (or even a male) and unwanted pat on the ass and see where it gets you. I'm not sure who the naive one is here.

Just because they voted for him over Harris does not mean they didn't care. But you just can't run anyone for president and expect to win. A few people in their party decided that she was the best candidate. It was a mistake.

All I'm saying is that there is a difference. If you don't recognize this I don't know what to tell you.

From the Googles...

What is the difference between rape and sexual assault?

In general, you commit the crime of rape if you have non-consensual sexual intercourse with another person by means of physical force or threats. By contrast, you commit the offense of sexual assault if you make sexual contact with a person, as in touching a person's intimate parts, without that person's consent.

Doesn't matter. Both are disgustingly wrong and cannot be condoned or defended.

I think with the right candidate it’s possible.
If Shapiro was the the vp Kamala wins, he a great communicator.

She certainly should have picked Shapiro. I was surprised she didn't. I expect it had to do with the war in the middle east and him being Jewish.

True yet both parties have when it is their candidate being accused.

I've never condoned or defended that regardless of party or who did it.

Wow. Convenient time to ‘realize’ this, after you’re done supporting her. Kinda little anti semitic of her, innit?

Mark Kelly was her best shot. Astronaut, wife survived an assassination attempt, good speaker, masculine in the ways they thought Walz would come across as. Arizona was more important than Minnesota too, obviously...

I was saying she should have picked him before she picked Tim. I was surprised he wasn't the choice. She picked Tim and lost. It is what it is.

I think she didn't want to lose votes from Gaza supporters. I don't think she was being an antisemitist.

She also chose Tim because he was relatable and blue collar. Wasn't good enough.

Yeah, he was my first thought. But, I thought she was going to go with Shapiro for the Pennsylvania vote.

Either way probably would have been better than Tim. But hindsight is 20/20.

Tim dating a Chinese woman in his mid 20s is also way easier to manage as a potential scandal than whatever the hell that Ellen Greenberg thing was.

Where have I condoned or defended them?

Didn't say you specifically did.

Just referencing Trump's sexual assault accusations and conviction that apparently doesn't seem to matter.

Also, saying in terms of sexual assault or rape on college campuses, that also not be condoned or defended.

What?

Yeah....and there's very fine people on both sides. C'mon, the way you stretch yourself to always try and take both sides of an issue has to be painful AF. Because sometimes there is only one side to an issue. This is one of those times. And you are absolutely correct! Facts no longer matter. Trump is a convicted felon and adjudicated sex offender. And 70 million people didn't give a fuck. Try giving a female (or even a male) and unwanted pat on the ass and see where it gets you. I'm not sure who the naive one is here.

I simply corrected one’s definition of sexual assault based on the law. There is no both sides.

Several women have claimed he sexually assaulted them/attempted to tape them.

Either way it is fucking wrong and is behavior that cannot be condoned or defended.

Again. My post had nothing to do with Trump and neither did the post i referred to.

Does anyone claim my post with the government link is wrong?

if not then wtf is the problem here?
Im contrarian for posting facts?

This is the problem. And has been the problem and continues to be the problem.

i post facts from the government and people rail on me like i have issues???

I opened my initial post on this topic stating i don't condone any form of sexual assault or harassment.
i then followed up with the government definition for clarity.
And I'm now the bad guy again for corrected another's post based on facts?

Dailymail (lol) ran some article a month or two ago about Walz dating the daughter of a CCP official back in the 80s, total nothing of a story that they were testing out as an October Surprise.

Ellen Greenberg is something I'm not really prepared to elaborate on as it's a complicated criminal case that I know almost nothing about but the short of it is a woman stabbed 10 times in the back of the neck was ruled as a suicide when Shapiro was the PA AG.

The only thing I was saying was that there is a difference between sexual assault and rape. They are both horrible things to perpetrate on another human being. However, one is more horrible than the other. That is why the penalty for conviction of rape is greater than the penalty for conviction of sexual assault.

Someone else brought up Trump.

I thought your post was referencing that. My apologies.

Maybe it's 1/5 girls are sexually assaulted instead of of raped at college, but there is a lot of tape that happens too. Either way It's fucked up, shouldn't be happening, and is happening too much.

Not saying you think it should be happening. Just commenting on the fact that it is.

“Democrats in N. Carolina voted for Democrats down the Board, except for President?

We had record turnout. But less people voted by about 20 million?

Centre County in Pennsylvania puts out this update: "Centre County Election team an IT team have identified that the data are successfully being exported from the mail-in-ballot scanners, but that the data "is not being recognized" when being uploaded to the election software

White women voted 57% for Trump in 2020 but 51% for trump this time & he won?

Black women voted 5% for trump in 2020 but this time 12%? When have you ever seen black women break for a republican like this?”

I have never voted for Trump. However, 72 million people did this year, many of whom were women.
It's probably time for the Democrats to stop blaming the voters and start thinking of ways they can improve.
I think that goes for both parties, but unfortunately, the winning team never looks to change things until they get their asses kicked.

Improve???

That would make things worse.

Dems need to get down and wallow in the mud with the pigs. Let's find a ignorant reality TV star (hey, how about somebody from the Bachelor series?) get them addicted to meth and roll them out as a candidate.

It's what the people want. Are you not entertained?

Because we get treated worse every year. Things haven’t been “Getting Better” since the 60s (and that was off the back of social movements from the 30s). We are 350 million people all of whom are having the screws turned on us. They took the pensions, gave us gambling in the form of 401k; they got rid of mental health care, gave us a national lottery; they took away unions and gave us faster and easy ways to apply for work when we lose our jobs. We all are living worse than our parents did. Our money is worth less every year, our wages are stagnant, our bosses cruel and petty… our parks and plazas, third places to enjoy life, are gone, replaced by larger TVs and monetized hobbies. we are livestock and if the pigs believe the cows are to blame they’ll kill the cows instead of the farmer, but all get turned into sausage eventually.

we can’t fix this country with the same system that got us here. Both parties have been complicit in this turning of the screws. We have nothing left.

Mark Kelly is a good speaker?
News to me. Guess I've only seen him on his off-nights.

whoever Harris chose as VP wasn't going to make a difference. It was Harris who lost, and the DNC, not the VP candidate
i put the blame of this 80% on the DNC, 20% on the continued ignorance and hate espoused by less informed trump voters
