2024 NBA Draft Mocks

seems like it, doesn't it

rolling out some tin-foil, I keep trying to see how driving the Clingan train helps out his good friend Schmitz. Simple conspiracy answer is it would make it easier for the Blazers to justify taking Clingan at #7: "we didn't think we had a shot at grabbing Clingan, but he slipped down to us at 7 so, no-brainer"

I'd agree there wouldn't be much brain involved

I just can't see this being the case - that Givony is pushing one player so hard just to provide a postdraft PR justification for another team to later draft him.

Seems more likely its agent driven or there's actually a bit of truth to it with teams trying to trade up and those leaks are out of the teams control.

this is difficult....it's much easier to defend stupid things I said this morning rather than stupid things I said 2 weeks ago

I think that would be dumb.

Clingan could be at 4 for Atlanta, plus getting 8.
Sarr paired with Wemby is … disturbing.

Atlanta getting a player for right now and Clingan sounds more what they want. To get there will cost a team. It’s serious risk, but I want Portland — while keeping Sharpe and Scoot and future picks — to swing away.

Very disturbing. Both move well for their size and can play inside and outside. Adding Sarr's 7'4 wing span to Wemby's 8' wing span would be interesting. They would have the next decade to add to that tandem.

I am NOT trying to be rude but saying you will turn in your Blazer fan card might be one of the silliest things to say at least in terms of taking a stand on a draft pick. There is no one in this draft that would make me go -- IF the Blazers draft him I am DONE with them -- well maybe Bronny if they take him at 7 or 14 -- LOL
Say, where do I get one of those Blazer fan cards anyway?

I'm not good at evaluating how prospects will translate to the NBA.

But Sarr looks awful intriguing if he's quick enough to play 30 minutes at PF. I just looked at his Euro-stats: per36 he averaged 20 pts, 9 rebs, and 3 blocks. Yikes! Wemby and him might be an inside/outside combo that's never been seen on one NBA team. That's a twin towers that might actually dominate

Spurs fans discussing moving up to grab Sarr. The 4 & 8 picks have a lot more traction then Portland's 7 & 14.

Sucks, but sometimes the luck of the draw. Detroit has been on the wrong end of that draw for years.

We don’t need sarr this year because we are getting Flagg next year

if the Blazers don't land a top 4 pick, remember... Jody Allen will save some rookie contract money.

Happy owner = happy fans

Haven't seen Sheppard at 6 often.

If that's the case perhaps he could even end up at 7 - or we could get him from Charlotte for a minimal asset.

Would be tempted to do that and explorer trading away Scoot.

Terrence Shannon Jr, Illinois

What are thoughts on him now that all charges have been dropped against him/ he was a lottery pick until charges.

If he's there at 7, I hope we take him and figure it out later. If we trade Simons we could use him.

So the Ringer thinks it's Clingan and Salaun.

I guess I'd be okay with that. It would be pretty boring.

I'd be pretty good with this honestly. Building a functional team is just as important as getting talent. Getting Clingan with Salaun to join Scoot and Shae I think would be exciting and well-balanced with size, skill and athleticism.

Are NBA players allowed to hold hands, and create an impenetratable barrier across the floor?
