Game Thread 2025-26 GAME #66 - BLAZERS VS HORNETS - MARCH 10, 2026 - TUESDAY - 7:00 PM - KUNP - BLAZERVISION

That should be an offensive foul with the leg kick by Kon, but I dont' expect it to be overturned.
there were two fouls...the illegal leg kick by Kneuppell; and Timelord jumping into the shooter's landing zone. Offsetting penalties resulting in a jump ball was the fair call

A lot of bunnies by Deni and Rob in the forth. Both seemed tired. I think they could have used vit and cidy during the game a lot more and have fresher feet for everyone later on in the game.

At least we don't have to be embarrassed by this team again this season. There is always next season.

but the game before this one he was good! Lol.. I laughed at all the relieved people felt after that game. Like weak ass players don’t have good games every blue moon
I thought the Blazers are your favorite team? Why are you laughing at Scoot and the fans on here?

The thing that stood out to me was Camara missing 9 three point attempts in a row. Making just one or two of those wins the game.

He shouldn't have even been in that last possession when he fucked us on that out of bounds pass in. We needed a three. No Matisse or Vit out there? Wtf?

I was so confused why Vit was not out there when they needed a 3…The last few possessions were just nonsense. Also, what does that say to Vit? “Hey we want you to join our team, but we don’t have confidence in you”…

He has been struggling from deep since he got here, but he is one our best three point shooters, so it would have made since to bring him and Matisse out when we needed a three.

Good on the Hornets though. They have the better coach and a team with high basketball IQ and a desire to win. Wish we did.

Frankly, just tired of the excuses. Oh it's the traveling. The Hornets traveled across the country and still got it done. Oh, the opponent was a better team. With this continued logic every opponent is better than the Blazers and Blazers must be the worst team in the league.

There are no expectations, no accountability with this team. It's just the same shit over and over. And it's very frustrating. Someone of you wonder why people get upset at these loses. It's because they love this team. They want to see this team get better. To play right.

The Blazers came out of the all star break with the easiest remaining schedule. They are 4-6 in that time. Haven't won consecutive games for over a month.

You got Dame over there talking to Kevin and Lamar saying how the Blazers are ready for a late season run and he is excited to see it. He's talking about how talented this team is and how good it is and is going to be. When does all that materialize? Because what he is seeing and what we are seeing are different things. It's frustrating.

I certainly don't see a team that believes in itself. How are we as fans supposed to believe in them?

It's tough when they are making and the same mistakes over and over and it doesn't appear there is anyone there teaching them different or pointing those bad tendencies out.

Frustrated with Tiago. Though, he is just an interim coach. I wasn't a huge fan of Chauncey, but at least he seemed to hold players accountable and get on them and when they made mistakes. Pull them aside and say, I saw you do this or that. Don't do do that, do this instead. Or this is how you do in such and such situation.

Tiago just seems to stand around and stare like he did last night, watching the lead evaporate. He's not getting the best out of this team. He seems to lack an understanding of how and when to use these players together. When to take timeouts. Again it's frustrating.

So tired of opponents walking all over us. So tired of being the easy team that everyone wants to play. That no one respects or fears.

I still somehow have hopes for next season when Dame returns. But, I don't know. This team isn't much if any better than the team he had around him before we tore it down. Just another not good enough team around him. Maybe the Blazers really aren't trying and will suddenly try next year and look better. Different. Idk. There are certainly flashes. Just too much giving up and giving in for this team.

Damn.

Signed, a fan

I believe you left out that they have more talent than us. I truly believe that has an effect/affect on the outcome of games.

That's every opponent according to you

I’ve never said that about every opponent sir. Just, I don’t know 18 or so other teams. And considering how many games missed with injuries we’ve had, that’s a bad combo. You really thought we’d win against the Hornets last night, Honeslty? One of if not THE hottest team in the league this calendar year? Sucks we blew it, but I didn’t think we’d even compete. Who do we play next, I’ll give you my honest assessment FAMS!

Yes, we should have beat them. They are only 2 games ahead of us. The two games we gifted them.

The 20 win Jazz with all their stars out. Of course we will lose and you will say they are the better team once again.

Nah, we have more talent than them. That should be a dub for sure.

I don't know how many Camara averages, but he shot 12 threes in this game. Those shots were by design. If he's our designated spot up three point shooter, we have a problem.

I agree, since we have 3 point shooters why force a 3-D player when he is a defensive stopper. I know offense is needed and we can’t just have a RHJ out there laying bricks, but at some point they need to figure his position out.

what's a RHJ?

Just having the ref not call that touch foul on Deni as he is passing to Timelord for a dunk would have probably won the game. We would have been a point ahead and still had a good two for one opportunity.

I thought it was stupid that Scoot scored the most points in the first half but only played 11 minutes (in the first half).
I think if you have a player on the bench that's shooting lights out, leave them out there. Go for the biggest lead you can get.
It's not like the rotation is on a 5-game win streak.
Especially when you have a star player Avdija that could use some rest, and Scoot should be given that opportunity to take over when he's playing well.
(also Jrue had a stinker scoring-wise, 2-8 for 4 points. Yikes.)
Scoot ended up with 19 minutes for the game and Avdija 34.

I saw something different. I saw a team that gave everything they had in the Hornets, stuck a hand in every nest they could, tested the Blazers, tested the officiating, and probably made the difference in their late swing. I saw something pretty impressive from the opponent, rather than what was wrong with my team.

That just what I saw.

For sure. The Hornets finally seem to be turning the corner.

Also, is anyone going to mention the fact that Kalkbrenner, Kneuppel and Ball are all on the same team? They need to add a Bush or at least another Ball brother. My wife thought I was making it up.
