I'm sort of glad as this benefits the Blazers. But there will also be times the Blazers are on a B2B and opponent is not.

Really it's just nuts the NBA still has this schedule. Basically 10-20 games of the regular season are a complete waste. I'd be pretty pissed if I was a fan that had paid big $ to get tickets for tonight's game.
 
As much as we shouldn't be susceptible to anything close to a trap game because we're young, hungry and have no actual reputation around the league; I do think this could be something like that with Luka, LeBron and Austin Reaves not playing tonight.

We better look to blow the Lakers out with the players they'll have in uniform.

I don’t like how thin we are getting on defensive game changers. Thybulle and Blake came in and would give us huge burst of energy on defense. Think we should consider a different player other than Love to bring in for temporary help till we get some players back

I definitely think if there is a guy in the G League on another team (not yet a two way player) that is a defensive game changing guard that obviously won't be an offensive threat, we should drop Love or Cooke to pick that theoretical player up on a two way.

Tou and Shae have been assigned full court pressure on the ball handler. We've had Jrue do it in certain lineups. I think there have even been possessions where they've had Kris back there on ball.

Based on who we have left on the roster, Sidy is the guy who brings energy. (and turnovers)
I think he will get some minutes. If he doesn't shoot too much, he will be fine.

But I want to see if Rupert can replace Thybulle's minutes. No, he is not as good, but he is long, and he does get steals, and he can hit the open 3.
But he needs some consistent minutes to get a little confidence.

I don't think they can bring in a PG with the type of energy we want and have him up to speed by the time Scoot gets back. I think you have Love on the bench in case of another injury and/or foul trouble. But yeah, teams would pressure him, and it would get ugly unless he was in there with Deni.

Deni will be getting 38 minutes a game.
 
With Luka and Austin and Lebron out Tou and Deni can take Rui out of the game pretty easily

Sad part is a guy like Love could easily become a great defender but he’s more chucker than defender. Kid is super athletic, accept your role redefine your game and he could have long NBA career

True. But he does give more effort on defense than I thought. So I think it is possible that he can improve. But not by the time Scoot gets back.
 
I don't know if it's the time change but I can't keep my eyes open. Hope the Blazers blow out fakers because I might not make it to the end
 
Wait....but all those Laker fans who paid for tickets from season ticket holders...they were expecting to see Luka and Austin play....oh well!!! No refunds huh. Will be forced to watch their team get beat again.
 
Wait, what if it wasn’t the NBA that rigged the 2000 Western Conference Finals so the Lakers won, but Jordan personally to make sure the Blazers lose? He would never allow Pippen to have more rings than him. I wonder if he used his gambling contacts to get to a ref or player?
