Game Thread 2025-26 GAME #78 - BLAZERS VS PELICANS - APRIL 2, 2026 - THURSDAY - 7:00 PM - KUNP - BLAZERVISION

Can I please see some fucking fire from this team in the second half cause they showed very little in the first half. I realize they cannot go a full half ( 48 ) at a 9 or 10 fire like they did for the most part last game but so far it's been like 5 to 7 with maybe 8. Bottom line stop playing down to the Pels and in the first 5 min of the second half take control and step on the neck and end it -- PERIOD. This is what is needed if you really want to go to the playoffs and if you cannot do that then just go pack your bags and get ready for vacation and do not waste our time.

1 more thing -- you realize your new boss is in the building watching this and he is taking notes and your job might be on the line but maybe I am wrong -- LOL

ot a bit, but it would be a epic series if OKC and the Spurs meet in the WCF. Both teams are curb-stomping opponents tonight

They have the lead now let's see if over the next 3 min or so they step on the Pels neck and break it and end it or will they revert and they take it over again and lead by 6 to 10 (plus ) . Also I can handle missing shots but i will admit I would like smarter 3's but what i really want is to see the defense they have shown over the last couple minutes for the rest of the game.

Blazer defense, mainly Camara and Thybulle, really picked up in the 3rd. But the Pels sure do take a lot of wild shots

Well it was a win ( ugly one ) and no one got hurt and that is about all I can say about this one cause I was not impressed outside of some shooting by Jrue and a couple other small things.

My grade for tonight -- C plus but barely

Jrue just took over this game again when we needed to keep the lead. He was amazing, so was Deni. We got the 8th seed! 2-0 under new ownership!!!

pretty clearly the Pels defense was counting on the Blazers going cold from deep. They weren't rotating to open Blazer shooters. It would have worked except that...the Blazers didn't go cold

Blazers only had 13 turnovers, I didn't see it as sloppy. Just playing a team with a lot more talent than their record would indicate. To not have a let down game after that Clippers game says something.

When Jrue makes 6 or 7 threes, we win. I thought we played hard all game. Pelicans may have nothing to win for but they have nothing to lose for either. They have talent and they tried to win but we won by 12 anyway. And sloppy? We had only 13 turnovers. Scoot had 0. We are clearly zeroed in on the 8 seed. We have an outside shot at 7 seed too if we win out. The way we're playing, we just may do it. Suns lost, Warriors lost (barely), Clips are fighting but losing. A good night for the Blazers if the Spurs take care of business.

The Blazers have a great shot at the 7th seed if they end the season in 8th place.

All they would have to do is win the first game of the play-in (albeit on the road).
