What did Portland end up shooting in the 4th Q. TV guy said they were 13-16 toward the end. Blazers needed every make

* I get that SGA gets officiating that seems...off. Guess what though, Deni gets a lot of the same calls. Drive aggressively, lean into contact, fish for whistles. The Corey Maggette school of offense

* OKC looked pretty gassed in the 2nd half; ragged. They sure didn't look like the high BBIQ team they usually are. several dumb plays by the Thunder. Blazer defense helped that along

* Blazers shot 44% on three's and 38% on two's. Backasswards works sometimes. I wonder what the winning percentage is of teams that shoot over 44% on three's. Jrue was 0-6 on three's against the Lakers and 6-10 tonight

before the season, I didn't predict the first 8 games, but if I had, I would have said "probably 2-6; but 3-5 at best". Blazers are 3-1 in those toss-up close games. I did predict 40-41 wins, Not ready to come off that yet. That Laker loss is too recent

8PM tipoffs are a thing on the NBC/Peacock doubleheader nights - awful.

Amazing win - went from hating life in the first quarter to walking back to car with a lot of excitement (not counting the twenty police cars around the Red Robin / Denny's block - assuming someone wasn't alive in that area any longer).

Apologies for posting on this thread.

Am I reading the schedule correct that our game vs Suns on the 18th is at 8PM Pacific?

Why? I have not seen a game scheduled past 7:30PM

Or is that an error
All of the Peacock/NBC games are on at 5pm and 8pm Pacific. That's when they've been airing them and will continue to this season.

Edit: Even that Highlights Creating Panic guy @THE HCP said he's never seen that before. I agree, how the fuck does NBC expect those late games to get any viewers anywhere but the west coast and we aren't even used to games being that late. Crazy stuff. Someone on the east coast would have to stay up to 1:30am to watch an average game that starts at 11pm for them.

Bro you can ask that wherever you want. Yeah it’s an 8pm tip off. Dumb late.
Thanks, I was looking for a more appropriate thread to post it to. I'm taking someone to a game for the first time. It could've been this game but I said, I don't want their first Blazer game to be a loss, lol.

So next chance is one of the back to backs against the Suns and Bulls. Leaning towards the Suns as our likelihood of beating them is higher, but the 8pm start might be an issue. So we better beat the surprisingly good Bulls team if I take a first timer that night :)

I was at this game (Thunder) and boy the refs seem to want the Thunder to win, The Ref You Suck can't was loud and lengthy and frequent. Electric victory. Somehow reminded me of some BRoy crunch time heroics against Joe Johnson and the Hawks. I was at the Moda for that too. Crazy how time flies.

Thanks for the info

Great win! We can’t get too high or low on this team, bad losses (Lakers) and great wins will happen. It’s just about growth, the team jelling and see how consistent we can be as the season goes on!

The road games might be interesting. What I'm seeing is a team that relies on defensive disruptions to get going and a couple of players that are veterans. Obviously the Blazers don't really score well even at home but stay in games with disruptive defense. That usually translates on the road.

Where’s the Tiago Splitter fan club now ? Lol

Camara defense isn’t as good as before

Told ya. It’s not just me

Chauncey had these guys playing harder than this

Look at this all their no namers kill lol

So does the Aldo guy just simply disappear when the team plays well? #ClownTown
Yes. Yes he does. I called it before. Go look at the Denver game. Same thing.

He is a complete and total troll. He is only here to toss shade and make fun of the Blazers. He is not a fan at all or he would enjoy the wins.

This guy should not be here.
Send him off like other trolls.

I just had a flashback of Devito in Throw Mama from the Train saying, "Criss cross".

What a great film! It's burned into my brain from many rewatches.

"And he said a very bad word...and "I hate her, I wish she was dead!". That guy's fists were the same size as his head...bigger!
