What did Portland end up shooting in the 4th Q. TV guy said they were 13-16 toward the end. Blazers needed every make
* I get that SGA gets officiating that seems...off. Guess what though, Deni gets a lot of the same calls. Drive aggressively, lean into contact, fish for whistles. The Corey Maggette school of offense
* OKC looked pretty gassed in the 2nd half; ragged. They sure didn't look like the high BBIQ team they usually are. several dumb plays by the Thunder. Blazer defense helped that along
* Blazers shot 44% on three's and 38% on two's. Backasswards works sometimes. I wonder what the winning percentage is of teams that shoot over 44% on three's. Jrue was 0-6 on three's against the Lakers and 6-10 tonight
before the season, I didn't predict the first 8 games, but if I had, I would have said "probably 2-6; but 3-5 at best". Blazers are 3-1 in those toss-up close games. I did predict 40-41 wins, Not ready to come off that yet. That Laker loss is too recent
Wrongo!! Deni's drives actually receive hard contact, SGA, (which btw stands for Simulating Gravity Again), often gets no or little contact and then falls on the floor to try to sell a non-existent foul. He's a despicable player. I actually HATE him and players of that breed. He's a fake star, earning his points dishonorably. Yes, I know all players typically try to sell calls to some extent, but not all fall down every fucking time and act like SGA does. He also just has a petulant, punk face that is asking for a punch in the pretty-boy mouth.
He has the shooting skills to just be a great player without all the flopping, so it's disgusting that he's so damn nauseatingly greedy and tries to milk the free throw system so egregiously and also has a taste for the refs' rods.
The refs (NBA) tried HARD to fuck Portland over this game with the worst officiating I've ever seen (I was at the game) and have never heard the chant "REF U SUCK" in a MASSIVE roar from the whole arena, again and again. It was super loud! Was that picked up on the broadcast? It had to have been. I gotta go watch. The NBA should be ashamed. They have a hate-on for the Blazers and are trying to diminish all the great aspects of them.
Speaking of this: I am not seeing any national news praising or talking about the Blazers win, beating the Thunder and snapping their lossless record. The Inside crew didn't do a segment, SAS hasn't said anything......or have they? I haven't found anything, but haven't looked super hard....but shouldn't have to, this is HUGE news!
It's a hard game to watch sometimes. NBA makes me sick sometimes...OFT times.
