Re trading down from 11 to 15 and 24. Apart from the fact that we would be doing OKC a favor, I would only agree to it conditionally (obviously you'd have to, as the player they want might be gone on the night) so that if a surprise player drops we get to keep him. But I think you could get two very good players here, including one or both of Jase Richardson and Nique Clifford. And it makes sense for OKC to be looking to do this (or trade out of this draft for future drafts) because they are choc-a-block. If they don't trade, they'll be taking Euro players and strongly encouraging them to stay there for a couple of years.

Actually, according to this OKC end up with CMB and Hugo Gonzalez. If that happens I might very well be open to that whole swapping the 11 for the 15 and 24 idea...

Their skill chart on Knueppel (ranked 13) has him rated very low on defense and rebounding. Demin rated at 34. Murray-Boyles and Essengue beautiful skill charts and are still the two I like the best. I don't think I ever want a guy rated low on rebounding cuz good rebounding takes toughness and smarts.

I can definitely see Toronto taking Essengue for how obsessed they were with Giannis back in the days. There's some resemblance. And he's already growing.

Maluach is the only other player that may give them pause. I want Essengue for Portland myself.
