He needs to improve his cardio
This dude is gunna be good
Players like Yang make the game easier for their teammates. When the game is easy, you aren’t exhausted when you hit the playoffs. Remember how tired our teams were in the first round in the last 20 years or so? Yang will reap huge benefits for us in the coming decade. His teammates will need to learn not to hesitate cutting to the hoop.
Just:
1. is there an opening? If yes then
2. cut to the hoop. DO NOT hesitate . Put your hand out. There's the ball. Fight through the defenders, make them foul you if they want to prevent the play.
Caleb Love has looked the worst. 1-7 shooting, 0 assists. Nobody else has more than 3 shots attempted.

Give it five yearsHe kinda feels like someone who could flirt with a 5x5, but never having the steals.

One thing worrying me about Yang -- and, admittedly, we haven't seen enough to know whether it's a legit concern or not -- is that he might lack something you can't really teach, that being that he might not be assertive enough, that he's too nice and plays with too much finesse. I see things with not finishing strong and not going hard after rebounds that make me question. It could be other things, but, in my experience, that's usually a personality thing.
It's just the opposite of Love, who tries to do too much.
BTW, I remember seeing someone at one point ask if Love could take over the Simons' role on the team. Love is behind Ant by levels of magnitude, not that I thought that was a serious comparison. Simons is a much better athlete and a much better percentage scorer than Love will probably ever be, but I doubt Love will ever see meaningful minutes for this team. He's a fun guy to watch play at times, but, if you are trying to win, he'll drive you crazy. As a player, he's the type of teammate you want to have only in certain situations.
Agreed on both takes!
