Yeah, I just realized I already was counting Cissoko on the regular roster and not as a two-way player.

They could very well convert him. I could see it.

Yeah, this will be his 5th season. He's no longer elligible. Love and Cissoko are already taking up two spots, he would have been a good third. As it is, I think it will be Carton or Skapintsev. Could also be someone from another SL team.

We do have the 15th spot, but we probably leave it open or convert Cissoko. Also could resign Banton. Don't see it though.
Yeah I've been surprised we didn't resign Banton. Thought hed be a great poor man Ant if we need an offensive spark. He knows the system and teammates well. He's great value on a vet minimum deal.

No Yang and the Blazers get dominated.

Love with 8 shots... I was expecting 20 with the comments.

Nice summer league for Rupert.

Guess that's it until preseason!

Didn’t watch most of the game since there was no Yang. Funny that we had the 2nd best point differential after 4 games but we didn’t qualify for the playoff.

Records first then point differential. Crazy that two undefeated teams didn't qualify.

I wonder which year we had the better point differential between this season and 3 years ago when we were champs. We had 3-1 record both years.

Rupert shot 64.3% from 3 during this summer league. He's earned a spot in the rotation, but there isn't a spot for him.

Let me rephrase that. We don't need to trade for a shooter, Rupert is one already.

He shot 28/78 as a rookie at 36% which was super encouraging.
But then last year dropped to 16/59 at 27%

I would like to see how he plays. Its fine to have him as 3rd string and then earn more during the season. I'm also fine having Knecht or such in place of Thybulle and both Rupert/Knecht battle for 2nd/3rd string and the primary backup spot.

Rupert has earned the chance to try and earn a spot in the rotation. He hasn't proven he deserves one.
