the Spurs will probably start doubling Deni down the stretch like teams used to double Dame. I was surprised the Suns didn't do it...they should have but they didn't and paid the price

Grant had some goofy plays going to the basket, but he sure hit those corner threes when we needed them. I'm glad he came back tonight.

I hope that's what Splitter told him when he sent him in that last time: Just play defense and take corner threes.

The great thing about this team is, when healthy, it has so many different combinations it can throw at you. You figure adding Dame next year with reasonable improvement from Shaedon, Scoot, Toumani and Donovan -- if they can find a way to keep Matisse and Timelord -- that's a nasty team to have to play. It's really deep. It has a lot of scorers. It has around five guys who were all-defense picks at some point. It makes it hard not to play the Blazer tempo.

This can be a nice springboard into next year, providing the team remains somewhat healthy.

4 or 5 will help also.
Playing a series is definitely different. At no time in college do they play a series like this against a single opponent.

the Blazers can clearly build around Deni. I don't know who fits right now. They're not consistent enough. Jerami Grant is great if he doesn't try to do too much.

It was a flagrant. Flagrant fakery. TV guys said Clingan pulled Brooks to the floor. LOL. What happened was, as soon as Brooks felt contact to his neck he wisely fell to the floor.
