It was a flagrant. Flagrant fakery. TV guys said Clingan pulled Brooks to the floor. LOL. What happened was, as soon as Brooks felt contact to his neck he wisely fell to the floor.
He didn't even fall to the floor. He staggered back like he was going to fall but righted himself. I couldn't believe the ref said he pulled him to the floor.

I will say I think Donovan got the Flagrant as a makeup for *not* getting a foul for dunking and nearly curb stomping Brooks when he was on the floor in the 2nd. That was a bit of a goonish play.

Just going to say this: I love the draft, and I love this draft.

But to see this team play the way it did down the stretch when it got healthy, to go on the road in the play-in, to get down double-figures in the fourth quarter after leading by double figures in the first half, to not play its best game and to gut it out and win at the end, I'm more than thrilled. If they had won that game any other way, I might be disappointed, but they won tonight like a good team wins. I don't see how you couldn't at least give the benefit of the doubt to how this team has been built and be excited for what it's capable of next year with Lillard back and so many young contributors who presumably would be better.

If you can't find a way to enjoy this, man, what are you alive for?
Absolutely. This is why I wanted to make the playoffs as opposed to keeping the pick. You don't really know what you have until the post season when everything is on the line. That's where players are made. And tonight, at least, this team showed they have some guts and can win on the road in a hostile environment and down double-figures in the fourth quarter. Now they know they can do it.

Some other things that are getting overlooked right now ... look at what our young guys did tonight.

Shaedon: 12 pts on 7 FGA. +19.
Scoot: 9 pts on 6 FGA in 17 minutes. 2 steals. 2 assists. 3 reb. +8.
Murray: +10 in 12 minutes with 3 assts and a blocked shot.
Donovan: +8 and 11 reb.

Toumani didn't have his typical game but made 4 steals and drew a big offensive foul later in the game.

Exactly this! Learning who shines and who shrinks in the playoffs is huge when you’re not done making moves.

I get the play-in now, and I really like it. The 7/8 matchup is a premium grudge match, a fantasy playoff series boiled down to its game 7 essence.
