So I didn't get a chance to watch most of the game (or listen to it), was Shaedon hurt?

Chances are we would have lost with Wemby out there but this game was huge for Scoot who showed why he was the 3rd pick in the draft and coming home who knows maybe a little home court magic can happen no matter if Wemby plays or not.

Nobody should be surpised about Wemby. He's tripped on himself in the past and fallen down.

The NBA's standard concussion protocol, sometimes called the NBA Concussion Program, mandates that players with suspected concussions are immediately removed for evaluation. They must have a minimum 48-hour shutdown period and can only return after being symptom-free during progressive physical exertion, requiring final clearance from the team physician in consultation with the NBA Concussion Program Director.

Key Components of NBA Concussion Protocol
Immediate Removal:

If a concussion is suspected or diagnosed, the player is removed from participation, and they cannot return to play or practice on that same day.

48-Hour Minimum Period:

A diagnosed player is prohibited from participating for a minimum of 48 hours.

Return-to-Participation Steps:

The player must advance through a series of steps (e.g., stationary biking, jogging, individual drills, non-contact, then full-contact) while remaining symptom-free.

Final Clearance:

The team physician must consult with the league's concussion expert, Dr. Jeff Kutcher, to confirm the player is fit to return.

Average Recovery:

While timelines vary, players often miss 3-4 games, with an average recovery time of 7-10 days.

Symptoms Evaluated

The protocol includes monitoring for, but is not limited to:

Headache or pressure
Dizziness, lightheadedness, or vertigo
Nausea or vomiting
Sensitivity to light or noise
Cognitive issues (e.g., feeling "in a fog," difficulty concentrating)

Comparison to Other Protocols

Unlike the 7-day, 6-step protocols commonly used in the NFL or NHL, the NBA does not have a set number of days to complete the protocol, focusing instead on passing the required exertion steps.

Does he have a social media platform. I would think Tight Wad would at least say good game guys.

So I didn't get a chance to watch most of the game (or listen to it), was Shaedon hurt?
I don't think so. I think his not playing might have had more to do with struggling a bit defensively. He wasn't terrible. He was staying attached, but he was getting caught behind a bit and got beat for a couple of tough buckets as a result. Other guys were getting it done, so they stayed with those guys.
