Interesting answer by Chauncey talking about how not having "the guy" makes you less predictable. I'm beginning to hear and see that he's looking at a Pistons model. That idea hadn't occurred to me.

every NBA champion over the last 20 years has had "the guy". Every team that lost in the finals over that time has had their own 'guy'.

you absolutely need a 'guy' to be successful. That's as close to an axiom as you can get. The key is what you put around your guy(s), and that was Olshey's massive failure with Dame

and Chauncey is wrong...I think the Blazers will be predictable; they'll lose a lot of games

Seems like they're gonna let Scoot and Simons battle it out during training camp to see who The Guy is going to be.

Said Ant really struggled to play with Dame.

And it was obvious just with the eye test AND with his stats. He plays better when he's the lead guard.

Both he and Cronin have pretty much said to be prepared to lose a lot of games because "we're young" and won't be consistent.

Dame and Ant wasn't a good pair.
Chauncey seems to intimate that Dame was the Big Brother he didn't want to overshadow. Now, Anfernee needs to step into the limelight.

Also, Chauncey accidentally swore.

Ant is listed as 14 lbs heavier. That to me is encouraging. It was much needed IMO. He needed to get stronger. 195 seems like a good weight for him. That is only 5 lbs less than Shae
I'm gonna keep beating this drum. The biggest barrier for him becoming elite offensively is about one shooting foul drawn per game. If he gets to even 5 FTA, he's gonna be on a different tier.

After looking at the above roster, did you honestly expect something different?
Uh, no.

As soon as we drafted Scoot I said we better be prepared to lose for the next 3-4 years because Dame was "100% going to ask for a trade and we're going to suck for a long time."

"Does Malcolm's presence affect Ant's role as a point guard?"

Yup. That's about the only thing he's missing offensively right now. It's something CJ could never do, but Ant has the athleticism so I see no reason why he can't attack more.

Asked about Malcolm's fit:

Says Malcolm won't change Ant's role. Says Malcolm and Ant are similar. Both can play PG or SG.

I'm OK with keeping Brogdon if it means getting a better trade return.

It went out for me. Did it cease for anyone else?

Is this on the radio? I want to take my dog for a walk but I’m not sure what my options are.

I didn't include Brogdon. My bad. I can see where that may be a problem.
