This is going to be a huge hurdle for the Blazers. People have been saying the Blazers have only beat the Spurs, and a bunch of bad teams. Well, a B2B of two quality teams after just one night off. I'm not sold yet, I'm worried they lose both. Tell me I'm just being a nervous nelly and they have these games in the bag.

1-1 is most likely what will happen. If we win both, then this team is FOR REAL. I don't see us winning both.

Well - Curry is out tonight's game with a concussion. It's possible he could be out Saturday. That may help.

The Bulls play back to back games @Denver then @Portland.

They could have tired legs.

They traditionally have some difficulty during the circus trip (Barnum & Baily Circus in Chicago).

Chicago is 5-0 at home and 1-3 on the road..we usually beat them in Portland. I like our chances. I'm not as worried this year about the 1st home game after a road trip thing as I usually am. I think this team gets it, and we're talented as fuck.

Chicago is on a 5 game winning streak of their own. After a weak start, they're playing very good team ball.

Ya I'm aware of that..but we're on an 8 game win streak. And in recent history we've had your number, especially in Portland. D-Rose will be the best player on the floor, but I think we're more talented overall. And I'll be at the game, so I'm hoping for a good one!

LMA always seems to play well against the team that drafted him. We've played great against Chicago in both cities of late. The energy in the Moda Center ought to be much higher than it's been so far this season.

Should be a great game, homecrowd brings the win! Starters will be up for this one! LaMarcus is on a mission!

If we win both of these i'll be SHOCKED. I suspect a close game vs Chicago that I think we will pull out but then were going to get run out of the house in Golden state like usual.

We always play Chicago really well. We've always played piss poor in Golden State. I think we split them.

Chicago will be far more tired than us from a game the day before, we should be favored.

The Warriors will be flying in to the Bay Area for the second of a back to back just as us, even match. Advantage to us if they are without Curry.

Both opponents are quality teams so there is no shame in losing but we can easily win both and it doesn't in of itself mean terribly much about the rest of our season.

No grown man with any shred of dignity should ever type "nervous nelly" If I could UNREP you, I would.

You scare me, I'm shaking in my britches. I was feeling peachy, but now I'm all yellow.

Most likely scenario IMO: Win a tough one v. da Bulls; get out bombed at GS. If no Curry, that should tip the scales in our favor, though.

I'm thinking the opposite. At home against the Bulls scares me. The Blazers first game back, the Bulls are playing great, one day rest since an exciting trip, the Blazers just got done playing their worst game that they still won. GS also worries me, but the Bulls I think are going to be the bigger triumph this time around.

is it too simplistic to say if we make 3's we win, if we don't we lose?

I think its fine to say that. When you boil it down that seems to be the essence of our offense and of how we win.
