Man, it is really great to see so many fantastic Blazers fans around the board these days.

Welcome guys, thank you for coming.

The reason why it's slowed down over there is because all the regulars have left, thus leaving Basel to try to infuse life into an otherwise dead board.

So this is where you all ran off to.

I always enjoyed the Blazer's forum over on that other site and Im sure this one wont disappoint.

I searched all over the internets and I finally found GOD!

Eh, I'm back over here now. Was growing a little tired of that ugly brown background.

EDIT: Oops. Thought this was a general forum.

I have a fundamental issue having a Laker fan litter the Blazer board with "topics." Not only is the intent transparent, I have to see Kobe every time he posts. It's insulting.

Make him some sort of bet. If he loses, he puts up the avatar of your choice for 30 days. If you lose? You won't!

:devilwink:

Welcome to S2 The Professional Fan, elcap15 and ATLien. Glad to see all you guys posting here.

I found it!

Missed ya All. Sad to see BBF dying but hopefully we can make this place even better.

I added a link for this place on Wikipedia hopefully that helps bring some of our lost friends in!

Maybe we should get Andre Iguodala. Any ideas for how we might trade for him? ;)

When I saw you and ABM banned, I had to move on. I didn't post much in the political discussions on BBF, but I read all the threads, and FWIW, you and I share almost identical political beliefs. I'll be looking forward to reading more of your takes in the future.

That makes two of us. : )

You know I love you maxiep . . .

Was it just me, or did anyone else have a problem with a Laker fan being the mod in the Blazer forum? I know some people posted that it didn't matter. It mattered to me.

He was the community moderator of the whole section, not specifically a Blazers mod. Clearly, the moderator of a section that has multiple teams is going to be a non-fan of some of the teams in his/her section. So, that didn't bother me. Sometimes the community moderator of the Western Conference has been a Portland fan (I was, at one point, as was Schilly) and other teams had us as "moderators" in their sections.

I don't think his Lakers fandom had any bearing on things. I think his dismissive attitude had a (bad) effect.

I thought the CM was SA1177

Oh yes, that's right. Basel said he was covering for SA117, due to SA117 being away for personal reasons.

My mistake. But it still doesn't bother me.

I think the combination of his attitude with his laker fandom is what made him especially unbearable.

Hello again, everyone... Glad I found you all again.

I love how they called all Blazers fans 4 year olds, and called maxiep maxipad. Just proof that they still don't get it. They have moderators like keaf and rawse running around personally attacking people, then when you question them, you get suspended. It's one thing if a moderator attacks you, and you're allowed to go back at them. But when the moderators have immunity, and work and behave in this way, that is ridiculous.

I don't see how this can follow a good business model. The 3 biggest forums on bbb.net were Bulls, Nets, and Blazers in that order I believe, when the bff change happened. Bulls were the first to leave. Then Nets. Now Blazers. I don't see how standing behind a few ridiculous moderators is better for business than standing behind the largest Bulls, Nets, and Blazers communities on the internet.

Well, Rawse and Basel are in their early to mid 20's. That age demographic is at the peak of the "I'm tough and I'll kick your ass" frame of mind, especially on the internet. Most of the Blazer mods were older and more experienced. It's obvious that Basel and Rawse haven't learned that you catch more fly's with honey.
