Just filled up at the Tigard Costco, Premium was $4.65. I have never seen lines at Costco that long before to get gas.

Bought new underwear at Costco, went with premium on those too.

Costco is my gas station of choice...

But inquiring minds want to know. Did you go with self serve, or attendant when you got the underwear?

A short story I read many years ago, I think Stephen King. Or was it Hitchcock? Have to search my old books. Two guys lost in desert miles from anywhere. They had just pulled off armed robbery or maybe murder for hire, can't remember but something bad. Had money but were out of gas.
Not much water, not enough to last for hours of walking. So they are getting fractious.
Survival of the fittest. One of them as I recall was trim and the other fat.

Car pulls into small town edge of desert, skipping, chugging, belching black smoke. Trim guy gets out. Car is junk but he has money for new one.

He had killed other guy, melted down his body fat and filled gas tank with it.

And to be totally honest, I just bought 2 new packs of underwear. Brought em on this trip. Old ones were getting a little big FAMS!
You are not supposed to inject the Zepbound into your penis!

Oil markets are going to open in the next hour or so. Thoughts on it opening above 100? I say high chances. Above 120? Probably not. Stay tuned!

Have only owned electric cars since early 2023, three Tesla's and a Rivian. Prefer their far superior performance over gas. My 7 seat 7000lb electric suv has 800hp and can go 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Hardly costs anything to charge at home.

But nice bonus that now I don't have to pay any direct oil price increases. Yes I'll have to pay general inflation - but whatever that's not a huge part of our expenses.

For years I've been hoping auto companies make more series hybrids like the upcoming Dodge REV or VW Scout. They are fully electric EV but with a pure gas engine "generator" under the hood. Zero mechanical link from engine to wheels. All the convience of filling a gas vehicle in under a minute if preferred but can drive over a hundred miles 100% electric and fast charge. Hoping these prices might lead to a little innovation with US autos.

The US EV industry is pretty pathetic. China has dozens of vehicles only for sale there that are far superior. BYD, etc.

Isn't that the same as the Chevy Volt?
