Sending anything to an employer regarding an employee that is not a compliment is a dicey thing to do. I've sent a lot of messages to the bosses of co-workers but they've always been compliments. Why is that? Because an employer might take it the wrong way and then you're in trouble.
No, it is not the business of anyone to send any shit to any employer unless you are either making a nice compliment of saying something nasty for a good reason. They should keep their nose out of a person's job otherwise.
So, I'm gonna object and loudly object.

Again, to be clear, the joke was to never send anything to anyone. It was to make him THINK we had. And it would have been his own posts. So what is the harm in JOKING about sending someones boss the words, they themselves posts?

We werent going to change anything, add anything or omit anything. Simply post quotes of his posts and make him think we sent them to the Blazers. No one was going to say anything good or bad about him. Just let the Blazers decide on their own if his quoted posts are harmful or not.

And ive crossed the line????
NOT feeling guilty on this end for thinking about a joke like this. Sorry. People think and act on jokes much worse than this and get global praise at times....

I do feel guilty for any part I might have had in instigating anyone else to actually write this letter, which body pointed out might not be true of and in its own. But my guilt on this is less and less the more I see HCP just continue down his path of repeating the same things that got him to this point. Again. Reep what you sow.

Until then you will always have disgruntled, thin skinned people who don't care for his BS and he will run into more who think its a conflict for someone affiliated with the Blazers to treat fans like this. It really is Black and White.

His accepted behavior has put him and this forum into this situation, regardless of which other individual forum members you think are guilty.

Its this continued behavior that spawned the thought of the joke in the first place!

People need to take ownership of thier part in things. Period. Including HCP and the mods letting HCP insdult people on a regualr pasis without recourse while jumping on others for the same. Lately? not really, but when I first joined here all HCP posts were insults it seemed.

If someone went to their employer preemptively to get ahead of the situation, it would probably be because they thought they did or said something that could get them in trouble. How would that be anyone else's fault?

And that's exactly why I declined on doing the joke. didn't want it to get twisted and have him actually get in trouble, or like you said, try to get ahead. But if we are going to start passing judgment over what someone thinks versus how they act, thats a slippery slope.

There are some forum members I have respect for and will continue to do so, but there is a bias from some of them that is clear as day.

Did this happen with certainty or not? I may think you are biased to HCP, but I don't believe you to be dishonest. Did this happen or not? If it did not then, falsly claiming members of this forum did so needs to be addressed. By the person making these claims.

I interpret that as a private conversation. You were saying that the respondent shouldn't be responding to you since he disagreed, apparently to me. Again, I think of this as a private message.
