Tom Brady is Unbelievable!!! That’s the GOAT right there.

I can't wait till he retires. The world will be a better place

The botched both games to get a LA/Boston SB
I actually thought the ref's let KC get away with a lot of Holding Pats receivers all game. I know the review calls were all pretty close. I actually don't know how they overturned the call on the field on the punt return if they need "conclusive evidence". I don't think the refs botched that game. I thought they pretty much hosed the Saints though.

“What are ‘things your students say about you,’ for $100, Alex?”

(Sorry, low-hanging fruit, but I have no doubt your students do NOT say that about you, Chris.)

They gave all three reviews to thevPats to help them win. There was no conclusive evidence to overturn the put return call. Bullshit. I wouldnt be surprised that coin was double sided

Man, Andy sure has a hard time getting over the hump to the super bowl.
Nice year, Chiefs!

Go Rams! Beat Pats!

Good for you

They did.

Even while chatting with my friend who is a die-hard Chiefs fan and nearly in tears over the loss, he thought the refs were pretty even. He was more upset about the “roughing the passer” or hitting the facemask call on Brady than the punt. No angle on the muffed punt was conclusive by itself IMO, but in totality? I agree with the final conclusion. Plus the ball didn’t seem to change in any way or form of bounce or direction. It was still a questionable call, but I saw a few go in favor of each team.

I don’t have any real skin the game. But I thought it was a great game to watch and I don’t really see that folks will be bitching about any real sort of controversy (at least as far as the media goes - fans that didn’t want to see the Pats win will undoubtedly find reason to bitch as they would with any outcome).

For me, just glad the C-awks didn’t advance. First time in my life I had rooted for Dallas (a couple games back).

I thought the Saints got hosed a bit, but they still failed to take advantage of the capitalize and make plays when they should have.

Basically how I feel. I didn't really care who won, I thought the refs were decent though. I think it's mostly a case of one guy really, really hates the Patriots and was going to be mad they won no matter how they won. Was a good game in my opinion. A few of those calls could've gone either way.

Serious question, why do you hate him so much?

He's as self absorbed as Pete Rose was. But worse. He's so in love with himself that all he cares about is own performance. His idol is himself. Jordan and Rose had flaws with the gambling that made them at least somewhat relatable.

Brady I could take it if he was always looking to break the rules and opemly admitted he didn't care. But he always looking for another cap rule to dodge, always another excuse for when he refuses to shake an opponent's fans.... And then there is this weird dedication to water that would scare even Mad Max in Beyond Thunderdome. He's about the most unrelatable sports star I can think of. In an ego driven era, he's the most egotistical.

At least they won the coin toss

The roughing the passer was bullshit too. More Brady cock sucking. The punt return call was very questionable. I will agree it was a good game though

How is the coin toss “bogus”? I’m just curious. They do show both sides to the captains at midfield, no?

Doesn't mean they can't change it

Seriously though, what he means is a game shouldnt hinge on a coin toss. Why not just play out the whole OT?

See this makes sense for you because in the FF thread you said you were a Jets fan. So I get it.

The most questionable call of the game.... the muffed punt.... the Chiefs scored a minute later, anyway. For folks that somehow believe that cost the Chiefs the game... can you please explain to me that logic?
