Doesn't mean they can't change it

Seriously though, what he means is a game shouldnt hinge on a coin toss. Why not just play out the whole OT?

I don’t disagree. But you guys are complaining about a coin toss. Both teams know the rules and how they were setup. But it’s not like this was a special circumstance for this one particular game.

The most questionable call of the game.... the muffed punt.... the Chiefs scored a minute later, anyway. For folks that somehow believe that cost the Chiefs the game... can you please explain to me that logic?

That one didnt. The roughing the passer did

The funny thing is what actually cost the Chiefs the game was something everyone knew would cost them the game if they lost. Their defense. Yeah, they made some plays here or there, but they couldn't stop them when they needed it. Just like every game they lost all year, couldn't get stops when it mattered most.

Most NFL fans hate Tom Brady

Even after Brady has played in the league for two decades, his jersey is amongst the beat-selling, if not the best-selling. I don’t even like Tom Brady, but let’s not over generalize here.

We don't agree with it all together not just these games. Its stupid

I stand by what I said

If one call cost at that point in a game where KC got away with several PI’s or holds, then KC didn’t deserve to win anyway. Especially on a play where they could have called PI against the D.

Yeah, they should have started the game with the ball instead of defering. That gave too kuch momentum to the Pats. The Chiefs defense was bad in the first half, but their offense was worse. The defense was getting stops but the offense couldnt get it going young Mahome was too nervous.

See this makes sense for you because in the FF thread you said you were a Jets fan. So I get it.

I've admitted he was the greatest QB ever, many times. Trust me. I know he's great. I see him more regularly than probably anybody in here. But he's still a blatant rule breaker and egomaniac. That's obvious. I mean, I love Joe Namath but he'sthat's not going to stop me from saying he's a creepy old man and a total drunk. What I am saying about Brady even Pat's fans are aware of.

The recent storms must have kicked up a lot of salt and sand.

So much sand in the manginas of these salty dudes!

Lol, I was just joking with you. Tell me the top athletes of any sport and I'll show you an egomaniac. I respect LBJ a lot but that dude loves himself so much. I don't think those guys get there without the ego.

The NBA refs are horrible

I'd rather have 7 games to get screwed than three interference calls determine a game. I've seen ahit like that happen again and again. Even with good coverage. The current rules in the NFL suck. So do the NBA. But the calls are more numerous.

The chiefs had the lead. If that bullshit call wasnt made the Chiefs would have likely got it back and scored again to help put it away, but the NFL wanted the Pats to win.

What, how can you tell? The Pats have been great for almost 2 decades
One of the older guys I work with grew up in Boston, went to Notre Dame and is in freaking love with his Boston sports teams. From all I've heard about the North East from him and other's loving your "sports teams" is kind of just part of most people's life. I think Bandwagoning is more of a west coast thing.

I just witnessed a great game by two teams I don’t care for. Anyone thinking the ultimate outcome was decided by the refs is a fool.

Same way I felt about the 2007 Fiesta Bowl when BSU upset Oklahoma. And I hated Boise State but otherwise enjoyed every minute of a reasonably-officiated football game. That one still goes down of the best football games I’ve ever watched.

Watch the replay and tell me you couldn’t call PI on the Chiefs there.

And what characteristic of Brady's world separates himself FROM his ego. His Supermodel wife? What show does he have where he talks about the game and world around him? When does Brady not complain about where he was drafted and how he still feels jilted? After 5 championships and 8 AFC championships he still has a chip on his shoulder. That's just ridiculously petty. Like I say, great accomplishments -- ridiculous mindset.

Underdogs my ass. How dare he even suggest that shit

Bandwagoning seems to occur here more on the West Coast, though. I think it’s half the reason the coverage is as it is. I mean, you think the Niners or Dallas had as many fans before their “golden” years? Or the SF Giants and Warriors fans were as faithful until their runs (and I’ve always been a diehard Giants fan).

Denying the bandwagoning existence in sports is just a bunch of blind lunacy. Just because maybe you aren’t a bandwagon fan for your team doesn’t mean the other 70% isn’t.
