If you talk trash throughout a game with a guy against you, then, you lose the game, ad he wins it by stopping you from scoring, you lose your right to still try to talk shit after the game. Well, you can, you just look like a sore loser. Again, the film does speak for itself. Film of him knocking a pass away from Crabtree, and winning the game. No reason, immediately after the game, to go to twitter and respond. You lost.

You look like a poor winner if you start talking shit on national television after you just won the game, and then continue to talk shit in the press conference afterwards. I personally would have left it alone, but you don't see why Crabtree responded?

that's not how these guys play. Were you a Niners fan during the Deion years? He makes Sherman look as humble as Moses. Sherman (like Gary Payton or Larry Bird) will talk smack to anyone, and generally back it up. And let you know about.

Yup. I was a fan back then. Talking shit on the field is fine, and if he wants to talk shit after the game that's up to him, but you have to expect that the other guy is going to respond. It's not like Crabtree started talking shit out of nowhere.

Crabtree's probably been talking shit since middle school (as has Sherman, as did Deion, as does Kaepernick). It's part of the game for some guys. I don't expect it from Montana/Brady/Manning/Barry Sanders/etc., but Keyshawn did it, Rice did it, Revis does it, on and on.

Would I do it? No. I try to live by the "act like you've been there" philosophy. But it's been part of the game longer than I've been a fan.

Ok, sure. Crabtree has every right to respond. How do you respond? Film don't lie? It's the tough part of....winners write the history. What does he say back? Hey man...I don't think I'm mediocre man. I think I'm an alright WR. And if you look at film not of this game, but other games of me....He made one play. Ok. He made one play. And it won the game. And you didn't make the play. But I guess you can respond. You just look dumb doing it.

Seattle won a fair and square game. I think the Niners are the better team, but sometimes the better team loses, and Seattle deserved to win this game. Sherman's last play against Crabtree was HOF stuff. Clean and just awesome.

I wanted the winner of this game to win the SB, and now that it's the Donkeys that Seattle is playing ... GO SEAHAWKS!!!!

Yeah, you're clearly right. Calling some old lady a whore and hurting her feelings for 15 minutes is the same thing as throwing food at a guy who will have to spend the next year rehabbing from a major knee injury that might rob him of his career. DEFINITELY the same thing.

a 49er fan shot a Raiders fan a couple years ago. I'd say that is worse than throwing a hot dog at an injured player. But that's just me.

I thought the game was extremely respectful until the end when Sherman went full douche-mode. I respect the hell out of Wilson, but Sherman is a piece of shit.

Yeah, Sherman is mouthy. So is Harpants, though. Sherman made the play to win the game. Harpants looked like an idiot in his post-game interview, too. Difference is, Sherman isn't a head coach.

lol...I hope the mom and dads of the world were able to get to the kids fast enough before this clown unloaded.

Richard...there is so much more to life than three feet in front, in back, and from side to side of you.

Jeezus.

in other news... my already high hatred for Sherman reached an all time high. Made me glad I hate the Sh*t outta that city

Jesus some of you people can be such nancies. Humble players are fucking boring (Love Wilson but he is boring). Sherman is a villain and the NFL needs more guys like him to create rivalries.

I'm just so tired of the "well both teams played hard, Terry" shit. When you win and it's against someone you hate then you can mouth off. If the 49ers had won and Kaepernick or Harbaugh started running their mouths I wouldn't be mad it would just fuel the fire to the already great rivalry.

I have to say I'm happy seeing Harpants fucked over on a few bad coaching decisions late in the game. Fun game to watch, and I still think SF is the better team, but Seattle showed much more poise and heart.

Seattle is the better team. No question about it. And Nate can kiss my ass.

I totally disagree that Seattle was "clearly better". This is the sort of game where a couple inches and faction of a second made the difference between winning and losing.

I agree too. Both defenses came to play. A few plays here and there were the difference. As much as I wanted this win and despise the Niners, I have to say they earned my respect.

We took 2 out of 3 including a blowout. And we beat the 9'ers in the title game without Percy Harvin. We're clearly the better team.

I don't know that it's "clearly" better--rather than talk about seconds and inches (which I disagree with), it's about philosophies and gameplans. SEA gameplanned to take away Gore and put it on Kaepernick. When Kaepernick was running, SF was doing great, b/c it wasn't on SF's O-Line or testing SEA's secondary. SEA didn't put Wilson in 7-step drops behind a shaky O-Line--they put it on Lynch and let Wilson take his shots in strategic situations. They didn't run read-option against SF's stud linebackers.

Seemed like the game turned when Harbaugh started calling passes, and Lynch started drawing more focus and opened it up for Wilson. Setting aside Bowman's stud play on the fumble, that was the 3rd big play pass SEA had in a row, and this would've been a 2-score game had Bowman not stripped the ball.

BTW..."Fanbases to be ashamed of" Department:

Some post-loss razzing of a San Francisco 49ers fan at a home in southeast Fresno turned violent Sunday when the man allegedly grabbed a handgun and shot two men in the leg, Fresno County sheriff's Sgt. Kevin Lolkus said.

Just after 7 p.m., deputies responded to the 200 block of North Caesar Avenue for shots fired in a home where 15 people, including a pregnant woman, were watching the football game between the 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. Lolkus said deputies found two men, ages 63 and 45, with non life-threatening gunshot wounds to the leg.

Lolkus said the suspect, Amado Vargas, 39, was described as a "new" 49ers fan and was being taunted by people in the house. From there it escalated, Lolkus said, to him threatening people with a knife, which was wrestled away in a struggle.

Vargas allegedly charged into a room that had a gun safe, took out a handgun and fired multiple shots, with two hitting the victims, Lolkus said. The suspect then fled in a black car with family members.

Vargas was found by deputies in the emergency room at Community Regional Medical Center being treated for a non life-threatening stab wound. He would not tell deputies how he was stabbed and he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

The victims were taken to Community Regional Medical Center.

Lolkus said a combination of alcohol and angry football fans caused the simple act of watching a football game to escalate into violence.

If that game is played in San Francisco, the Niners win IMO. FYI I hate the Niners.

Why do you think it was Harbaugh calling the play?
