Nope not in my rules. Commander in Chief is to blame. doesnt matter who is in charge. But nice that you will flip this to a Trump bashing. just admit that Biden fucked up with his exit strategy.

Yep, he should have left all the Afghanis behind, is that what you mean?

There's no way to evacuate 100,000 civilians from anyplace without exposing yourself to a suicide bomber.

A suicide bomber could do the same damage at a busy airport in the US tomorrow if they wanted - just walk into the terminal in the middle of the day and 'boom'.

There are things that could have been done better - visa processing, in particular - but suicide bombers are not ever under our control.

The commander and Chief of the Afghani national army is not Joe Biden...and Trump is directly responsible for denying visas to Afghani allies that worked with our troops during his election year...then inviting the Taliban to camp David and ignoring the Afghani president in the process...Joe has just done the damage control that Trump was unwilling to have on his record...but make no mistake in think this was all instigated by our commander in chief...our commander in chief is not the Afghani commander in chief.....they are a soverign nation...we are an occupying force in support of their national armed forces...who surrendered...that country doesn't belong to us nor are we required to prop up a failed government ..just like South Vietnam
Nobody is flipping the narrative...what happened in 2 weeks is not what should outrage you, it's what happened after trillions of dollars and 20 years that should outrage you

Biden didn’t fuck anything up. He took the shit sandwich the “former guy” left him and ran with it. Why don’t YOU admit there were NO good options? And who gives a fuck about Afghanistan anyway??? Which was my entire reason for starting this thread in the first place. We had no real business EVER being there and we should have packed up and left the day they killed Bin Laden and dropped his body into the sea. So now you know what you can do with “your” rules. The only thing I need to admit is that I’ve always been 100% correct about the “former guy”…….And asking for a friend, your comments would seem to indicate that by your “reasoning” you hold the “former guy” completely responsible for January 6, 2021, correct??? You can’t have it both ways according to your “logic”…….

Not when it comes to soldier deployment locations and tactical decisions. These are field operations controlled by upper level officers. Biden or any other President including a vice president named Chaney control policies like getting out or invading a country. Chain of Command officers are to blame for the loss of the 12 service personnel. Biden did fore warn the American people and his military.

I see your views and agree former guy would have made Afghan policies for his voting percentages and need to "personally win". Biden saw it as a dead end and expected the 300, 000 armed forces of Afghanistan (except one group) to at least honor their commitment rather than being cowards and giving their country away.

The schizophrenics on the Right will be comforted to hear that Lyndsey Graham (how does this hemorrhoid get reelected???) says we’re going back to Afghanistan. Hopefully the Republicans play that card when the 2022 elections roll around. That’s a sure fire winner………

Did Lindsey Graham ever see positives in any thing he did in Congress? He is an enigma. He reminds me of the human version of Foghorn Leghorn. He and Connolly are ancient.

This is what happens when you exit a country you've been occupying. We chose this as soon as we allowed our leaders to keep troops over there long term.
