This was always going to happen when we pulled out. Of course they're going to do terrible things. It makes us look bad, and we've committed to pulling out so there is nothing we can do.

It's a big reason Trump didn't pull us out sooner, and probably would have delayed it another 4 years if he would have won.

Going in and staying was dumb. Once we got there, ignoring the fact that we would eventually pull out was dumber.

This is on every president from Dubya on. Obviously including both Trump and Biden.

It's disappointing but also funny to see the war correspondents for all the networks so pissed off that they won't have an important job anymore.

But watch out, you and I will be accused of making light of the death of someone in the military...which undermines their use of those deaths as a political talking point.
 
Advising the Afghan president to downplay the strength of his opponents is neither lying nor unusual nor bad strategy.

She is over wrought with emotion. Biden did not plan a suicide attack. He warned of dangerous elements well before that. We all feel for her loss but She should blame the commanders above her brother. This will be an all day catch line for the vampires at Fox News.
