OT Aldridge may not finish season with Spurs

Here's what I don't understand. Why should we spend 8 pages on LaMarcus Aldridge? Whether you love him, hate him, or anything in between, we Blazers fans have our own headaches and he's not one of them.

because in todays world other peoples misfortunes bring joy throughout the internet.

Pops maybe trying to use the media to get something out of him that he wants to get out of him. That's where Phil Jackson would go if he needed something out of someone. Using and working the media.
Um, have you not followed Pop over the past 20 years?

This is NOT his M.O.

He doesn't go thru the media for anything. If anything, this is coming from another team or Aldridge's camp. And before dismissing Jabari Young's piece (which is warranted given his history), this whole story is originating from probably 2 of the most reliable NBA reporters: Zach Lowe and Jackie Macmullan. I wouldn't just sweep it under a rug.

Quick was asked about this clip this morning, and suffice to say he was unimpressed. He basically said he was pretty certain of the source of MacMullen's information, and said it was just someone trying to create drama in San Antonio.

So...I guess that gives it even more credibility.

If anyone would know about saying shit just to create drama...

Really? You don't understand?

This is basically your wife leaving you for another wealthy, good looking man, and that man decides that she's too whiny and annoying so he decides to kick her to the curb a little over a year later. I don't know anyone alive who doesn't love a little karma.

Schadenfreude.
Also, for a select few of us, vindication.
:)

If you go into Preferences and changed the number of posts displayed per page from 25 to 50 this thread is only 4 pages long.

Then we're only spending 4 pages on LaMarcus Aldridge!

Mine says it's only 2 pages.

Lamarcus Aldridge rebuffs rumors he's unhappy in San Antonio

"I talk to [coach Gregg Popovich] daily and he's always telling me that I'm doing great,"

"[I'm] trying to be a more of a leader. He's put me in positions where I can be more of a leader. As long as the guys here aren't saying bad things to me. All my teammates have said nothing but great things to me."

Translated: Everyone is, you know, being nice, so as long as everyone is, you know, nice to me and say, you know, nice things to me, I'm going to, you know, be happy and try to be more of a leader.

other translation....this worked for years in Portland....I have to face these new fans for 3 more years...y'know

No where did I see that LMA was wanting to get out of SA. I don't care if LMA is happy or not.

It's the Spurs who I think are unhappy with LMA & want to move him.
