I don't think that's a win for the Bulls.
The deal I suggested, I think, is really good for both teams.
You get an elite starting C on a cheap contract, plus a guy to help fill in at PF with LMA gone. Hinrich is filler to make the salaries work. Losing Wes gets you lots of PT for CJ and Crabbe (I like both a lot).
The Bulls get a better post up option who can stretch defenses, too. Plus a guy who will be our starting SG in a year when Deng leaves as a FA.
I love the idea of a Deng/Boozer/LMA front court this year, and Butler/Mirotic/LMA the year after.
I think there's enough wiggle room in the salaries to throw in Leonard. He'd play a lot for us, allowing LMA to slide over to PF while Boozer gets his rest. For you he's 3rd string behind Noah and Lopez.
