There is also Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection.

Prometheus and Covenant are prequels to Alien Earth and the original movies. They introduce the origins of the engineers and the creation of the xenomorph itself.

Romulus is set after Alien Earth. It takes place between Alien and Aliens.

While none of these are required to get into or understand what's up in Alien: Earth, the first two will help introduce you to the mythology of Alien and inform you a bit on the past of one of the corporations in Alien Earth, Weyland - Yutani.

Oh I'm well aware they are prequels but I'm not sure what this Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection are that you speak of ... I don't see them existing at all ... almost like they were so awful they should just be wiped from existence with zero memory of them whatsoever.

I thought Alien 3 was alright. Resurrection? Ehhh...

Ha

Alien 3 is ok. Resurrection should have never been made. They couldn't help themselves but to bring Ripley back one more time.

There is even a newer one that came out a year or so ago. Forget the name but it was really good. Ill look it up tonight.

Edit: reread and see you included Romulus.

Decided to finally watch the 3 prequels and got through Prometheus last night ... not bad even if it was really slow in the beginning. Good 40 minute chunk of action and then a weird final 10 or so minutes with basically an epilogue that I'm assuming plays into Covenant. Solid 7.1/10 from me on that one.

Ironically I think Resurrection is the only one I've seen in the theaters since I was working in one when it was released and remember just being dumbfounded at how bad it was compared to 1 and 2.

Before I watched alien Earth, I went back and watched every alien movie, just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Wasn’t necessary, but glad I did it

Really getting the feeling you actually love the sport ... I am open about my disdain for all things *ucks and soccer ... go count up my posts in those two threads and compare it to your posts in the Beavs and Mariners threads.

I speak for all of non-management when I say I think it's time to end that experiment, I mean the site is getting a new home, I think that will take care of things.

Also watched the first 1/2 of Covenant last night when got home from work, man that crew is really dumb.
