It's professional sports and part of the gig is that GMs are going to talk about their players in trades probably a whole lot more then we're privy to. If you were a pro athlete balking at this reality, you would be unprofessional. You don't set the lineups, the coach does. If you refuse to play coming off the bench, you don't get paid which goes against my listed player priority #1
Ant is currently being very well compensated and the team sucks no matter who is starting. When I speculated about him eventually coming off the bench, it was in the scenario that it would work best that way for team chemistry after (and IF) he, Scoot & Shaedon have all developed (meaning reached their collective ceilings). That is at least a season or two away. Presently they are being schooled & (hopefully) absorbing the lessons & not getting down over short term results. If the trio is kept together and they start winning down the line, thats when they can start figuring out which lineups work best. I will point out that there are 96 minutes per game available to the two backcourt spots... split 3 ways thats 32 each regardless of who starts and of course all three could spend some time on the court together.
