Our 'hood made #2 and #3!

Portland dropped a place on a tongue-in-cheek ranking of the nation’s best cities for Halloween trick-or-treating.

Seattle-based Zillow.com ranks cities for the quantity of candy given, walkability and overall safety.

Portland fell to ninth place, from its 2012 eight place showing.

Zillow said Portland’s top five trick-or-treat neighborhoods are Laurelhurst, Alameda, Irvington, Sunnyside and Mount Tabor.

The top five cities were San Francisco, Boston, Honolulu, San Jose and Seattle.

Short story time:
We had one pumpkin on our steps with the porch light left on the whole time. We left from 6pm to go bowling with our neighbors and came back at 1030pm to find our pumpkin had been carved, they had moved a few minor things on our porch and left their carving tools, knife and fork and woman's hair comb, behind. It was rather bizarre.
