I think Ja will maintain the title of most athletic PGHe'll already be the strongest, most athletic point guard next season. I don't think he needs a few years to be effective.

Built like KawhiScoot is built like a 6’3” Ben Wallace
I hear you, but I don't feel the same way.
If we had traded the #7 last year for, say, OG... it would have been a direction. We probably would have made the playoffs.
But we wouldn't have Sharpe, and we wouldn't have Scoot.
Personally, I'd be fine with keeping Dame and the rest of the team together, adding Scoot, and letting the team play. We wouldn't be a championship contender, but we'd have two key young pieces and we almost certainly wouldn't be one of the 10 worst teams in the NBA. Having a chance to win most nights and having two potential young studs is exciting to me.
I don't like a Scoot/Ant backcourt defensively. Scoot/Sharpe as the future is a lot more enticing. Turning Ant a two-way wing is not a bad idea. OG is still only 25.I hope we get Scoot! Yeah watching him more I'm worried we'll deeply regret trading him for Jaylen Brown or Mikal Bridges or Pascal Siakam. Looks like he'll be on another level and sooner than many expect.
I'm fine if we add him with Dame/Ant too. Sharpe is totally tall enough at SF, and between injuries/rest for Dame and development of Scoot that 3 guard rotation would keep everyone fresh. That would allow us to put better defenders with less offensive skill such as Thybulle or sign Dillon Brooks and have them balance out the rotation. Yeah I know many here would probably hate it.
I hate the idea of trading away Ant, not being a contender, then possibly deciding we need to pivot and rebuild anyways so trading away Dame. Meanwhile Ant is making allstar teams elsewhere and/or Scoot doesn't fulfil his potential.

OG is just an example.OG age is fine but his knees are damaged, the guy is injured very often. Yeah I can understand if we are trying to contend next year maybe flip Ant for him. Ant has a better long term future IMO. Plus we probably have to throw in a pick to the deal, as well as open the bank for OG next summer.
Ant Scoot plus another rookie is way more exciting than Scoot OG.
I'm not saying we can't explore any Ant trades - but I'd probably prefer to get a few picks and a lesser player if ultimately it makes more sense to trade him.
Part of my point of keeping Ant though - is the long term uncertainty of Dame as well as the uncertainty of a rookie (even though I love Scoot)

More interested in a Scoot/Sharpe backcourt 3 yrs from now entering all star territory.
If CHA takes Scoot, I want us to :I go back and forth on who Charlotte will take.
If we can get Scoot then I would love to get OG for Ant. (and realistically # 23)
If we take Amen I think we should keep Ant as we will need to surround him with shooters
If we take Miller then I am not sure if we should re-sign Grant. We would desperately need a rebounder at the 4.

If Dame stays we need to resign Grant if we can get value for him in a trade when he is eligible. Regardless if we get Scoot or Miller. If we can't get value in a trade then yes, let him go. I think Miller will be a star also, not just Scoot. But I see keeping Grant for another season while Miller learns, if we get him. I too have no idea which way Charlotte will go. I would love to know what the front office thought of the twins only as a possible trade with Orlando. So many possibilities.
Cavs already have Donavan Mitchell. Why would they do that?Would the Cavs trade Allen for Simons?
Lillard
Scoot
Sharpe
Grant
Allen
Would this lineup work?
I watched Kevin Durant's U of T highlights, and then Millers. They both get the shot off quick and pure. Both can finish in traffic. The only difference i saw , shot wise, was that Miller brings the ball down a little lower, before going up with the shot. But he's quick with it so i don't think it will be a problem. His shot looks very smooth. No hitches. He has some meanness in his attitude as well. I think he'll be good out of the gate.I like how Scoot looks like he's already ready, whereas Brandon Miller looks more like someone who will take a couple years to really show form.
Not saying Brandon is a project or whatever, but it's like Paolo vs Jabari. Paolo was ready from the get-go, and Jabari will take more time.
I like Amen and Scoot as possibilities. Not so high on Jaylen Brown (I think he's still making mistakes that should've been weeded out by now...in a way, Tatum and Brown are like Pierce and Antoine Walker), and imho, it shouldn't take the #3 + Simons to get Bridges (mostly because I think the Nets and fans are massively overreacting to the 27 games he played as a Net).
I'd almost rather over pay for Bridges with future picks than give up the #3.
But than again, I'm not even remotely being realistic and won't be upset if the team trades #3 to get a player (depending on the player).
Let me get this straight, Dame wants Dogs, Fans want someone to show some emotion and fire. Scoot Henderson is both. So what’s the issue?
We have a team full of guys who dont show emotion on the court, we need someone that does.

Part of Miller's appeal is that he is a plug-and-play starter right now. Remember, he's also a year older, so that's why he tends to be more developed than most other prospects.
He's not even close to Jabari, who can't dribble nor pass off the dribble.
